This ring runs a little small for me so I would encourage anyone purchasing this to go up a size. I thought maybe the longer I wore it the more comfortable it would get, but that wasn't the case. I work with power tools on a daily basis so jewelry is something I usually only get to wear for "special" occasions so I was very, very excited to find this ring. I am comfortable wearing it knowing that if it were to get caught on anything it will break and not cut my finger off. The finish is a "matte" finish so it isn't flashy at all, rather dull actually, however, I do plan on jazzing it up with gems or vinyl. I will post pictures when I do. Overall I am happy with this purchase and after I lose a few pounds and personalize it I will be even happier. I received this product at a discounted rate to give a honest and unbiased review. bought this band because quite a few years ago I bent my wedding ring, and I didn't feel safe wearing it as the diamond in my engagement ring could easily fall out. (My band and diamond were a set, and were fused together by a jeweler after the wedding.) I got really used to just not wearing a ring, and after a while, I had a hard time dealing with rings at all, because every time I'd try to wear a ring my finger would get really irritated underneath, from water or soap getting caught under it. I really wanted to be able to wear something on my ring finger to represent my marriage, and saw these silicone rings popping up everywhere. As they were made for people who couldn't wear rings for sports or work, I thought I'd give it a try and see if this would work, or if it would also be a problem.I'm happy to say this ring fits well, is nice and soft and doesn't limit my mobility at all, and it doesn't have anything on it that can catch on things. And it's really comfortable! I have been wearing it a while and I hardly notice it, and I've even washed my hands and there seems to be no irritation under the ring at all. (I usually could only wear a regular ring for part of the day before it bothered me.)It's also nice because it doesn't get in the way when I type, which is a big bonus, as I spend a lot of the day typing on my computer. And it's cute! I picked bright colors that I enjoy and like to wear, and it looks nice on my hand, although I will say that it's a bit thick on my petite fingers. Maybe if it was just slightly thinner (4 mm instead of 5 mm) it would look nicer on a smaller woman's hand, but that is a really minor complaint, and something that shouldn't be a problem for many people.All in all, it's been a really nice replacement to my broken wedding band, and seems to be working out for comfort and ease of wearing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who can't wear a wedding band. One application that would be great is a replacement for your band during pregnancy, because most women have to remove theirs because of fluid retention, and with the stretch in this band it would work out really well and still be able to get off easily. Okay so this is a really neat idea. I play guitar and do lots of "handy" stuff... but I also have smallish hands. Given the smaller sized hands I tend to have my thick, wide, regular ring get in the way, which is quite unfortunate. The band is about what you'd expect from the description... not a whole lot to write home about, but in this case that is actually pretty perfect. It's decently made, and it looks nice. I wear an 8.5 and got 9, and have to say it actually fits about perfect. That being said I'd probably suggest you aim high on your sizing if you're in between sizes, or if you wear full size ring, maybe consider how tight or loose it is before you decide what to do. For me the 9 fits just about perfect, it may stretch out a bit, but I wont know that for a while... I'll try to condition it by leaving it on for a while and see what happens... just in case. My main issue with this ring is the price price, for what it is I'm not really certain that it's "worth it", but again, if you want to go this route then you're probably seeing items in this ballpark anyway. All in all very happy with this particular ring.Again, wonderful concept, great implementation... the sizing was perfect for me at 8.5 so I'm happy where I ended... If I were a 9, I'm not sure where I'd go... probably up... but maybe that's just me. I received this item at a discounted price for a fair and unbiased review. I was not otherwise compensated. I ordered this silicone wedding band for him to wear during these activities and I'm so glad I did! It actually looks really nice, people can't even tell its silicone. I find he now wears this one more frequently than his actual wedding band! He's thrilled with the comfort of it and the "finger appeal" as well. He's normally a 9.5 and I ordered a ten. I was nervous it would be too big but it's actually snug. I would recommend rounding up in size, at least in our case. It comes with a little drawstring bag for safe keeping which is just perfect. We are so very happy with this ring and I'm thinking of gifting one to my brother in law as well! Heck, I may even get one for myself.
