SadoTech Wireless Doorbell for Home - Battery Operated, 1000 Feet, Wireless Door Bell w/LED Flash, 1 push button + 1 receiver, Baby Blue

With this wireless doorbell, the state of the technology has improved to the point where there is no comparison between this doorbell and earlier versions of wireless doorbells available from the likes of Heath Zenith or Radio Shack. Where the earlier models of wireless doorbells had limited range and had difficulty operating when walls, metal siding, doors or floors were in the way, this doorbell makes all of those obstacles a non-issue. On top of that, there is no battery needed for the receiver (the "bell"). You just leave it plugged into an outlet. The old units I have bought typically all needed 3 "C" size batteries in the receiver. With the SadoTech unit, you only need a single small battery (which is included) in the transmitter (the "button"). The receiver is also stylish and unobtrusive and lights up when ringing. The choice of volume levels (four) and the tunes it plays (52!) are so numerous and varied that everyone can find one that is suitable and entertaining at the same time. I had resigned myself to having to go to the trouble and expense of running wires for a doorbell but this unit has completely eliminated the need to do that. The blue color on this unit was an excellent way to differentiate it from the doorbell on my next door neighbor's door. She saw the one I bought (which I have reviewed separately as it had two transmitters) and had to have one when she learned how reasonably priced they are.

This product is awesome. Easy to install, and works seamlessly. We purchased three of these to put in our kids' bedrooms so that we can easily let them know it's time to get going for the day, come downstairs to eat, etc. The chime options are extensive and we easily found three different chimes that were pleasant to wake up to. We considered getting a wireless intercom system, but this is much better because it's simpler, less expensive, and the kids can't argue/protest through the doorbell like they could through an intercom system. This would also be a fun gift for a kid who wants a doorbell for their room. :)

Easy to install. A lot of ding dong tones but a lot of musical rings. Several Xmas songs, classic songs and fun songs to use,as a ring tone. Can be heard from a distance. Would buy again.

I use this on the outside of my classroom door since I can never hear people knocking. I've had it for at least 2 school years and it still works great.

I got this because my son is obsessed with buttons and loves our doorbell. I have an infant and two dogs, so when he pushes the doorbell, the dogs bark and wake her up. I got this and put it in the playroom. I stuck it outside the door so they can play house. My dogs don't bark and the volume can be changed. Which I love. There are a ton of chime options. Which is cool. The design is really cool too and I love how it lights up. I'm sure as a regular doorbell, this would be awesome, but we're using it for play and my son just loves it. So, I'm happy!

Bought this for my wife's kindergarten classroom. She has the bell mounted on the ceiling and she pushes the door bell so the students know their station time is done and they should rotate or move to the common area. No idea how it would work on a house or something like that, but for classroom use it is awesome!!

Great product! Besides its attractive form, this doorbell works perfectly. Other reviews note that you have to go through the entire selection of ringtones if you wish to use a tone you've already passed over. I don't see that as a negative. When you sit down to establish your ringtone, write down a quick list as you listen to the selections regarding which tones you like. You can then get to them easily to program your choice. The tones are nice, and there is a good variety to choose from. I purchased two of these bells. I have a standard doorbell ringtone set for one, and a tune for the other so I know which door my caller is at. I would have given this product five stars, but I have to echo the point other reviewers have made about the insufficient tackiness of the double-sided tape on the bells. I thought that perhaps the others were nit-picking, but should have paid attention. I opened my door a couple of days after I'd installed the bell to find that the unit had hit the deck, separated, and the battery had made a clean getaway! Like the others, my bell survived the escape with no injury. I still don't know where the blasted battery disappeared to, but the unit worked perfectly after I clicked a new one in. I put stronger tape on both bells and added a little bit of tape to secure the top and bottom pieces together just in case one of the 12v batteries tries to break out. For me, the sleek design, colors, choice of ringtones and performance heavily outweigh the issue with the tape. And I should add that it's December here in Wisconsin and the bell I have secured to the outside door has held tight for a month now. Very cool doorbell. Do yourself a favor, though. If you are smart enough to purchase one, just get the daggone double-sided tape! It's totally worth it:)

This product has a very large variety of tones and volume levels. I have seen many Teachers use this for getting their classes attention and it works well. Setting up is a breeze as well.

I ordered this for my middle school classroom and only used it maybe 10 times over the course of the year when my students got pretty loud. I'm not sure what happened but when I tried it at the end of the school year it doesn't respond in any way. Edit - I ordered a second one and it lasted a full year and is still working. Works well so far, hopefully that continues!

Bought for classroom use. Works great and can change the bell sound when it no longer gets students attention. So much better than all the older attention getters.

This is the coolest thing ever. I actually use it in my classroom as an attention getter rather than as a doorbell. I love how there are so many options for chimes and how you can change the volume on the receiver.
