New ThreadNanny 6 Spools of 100% Pure Silk Ribbons - Purple/Violet Tones - 60 MTS x 4mm

It's hard to find silk ribbon to use with ribbon embroidery. Since I wanted to make some flowers, I thought this selection (pinks) would be great for the roses that were in the project, especially since there was a variety of the shades.I was not disappointed with the quality of the ThreadNanny silk ribbon! It made for some lovely ribbon embroidery. I like that there were several different colors, and not just one. At the time that I bought these, single colors were not available, which would be nice to have as an option.The 4mm is nice for petite flowers (or other items). If you're planning on larger flowers, you would be better off with the 7mm ribbon.I liked the quality of the ThreadNanny silk ribbon enough to also get it in other colors. The colors are nicely varied and its just the right size for ribbon work. I have 4 sets of colors and enjoy them alot.

Perfectly elegant embroidery silk ribbon. I use it on my crazy quilts and don't have to pre-press...the ribbon is on spools so there is no kinking!

I was apprehensive about buying this ribbon without seeing and feeling it first. So, when my order arrived I was stoked to find the quality is excellent. This ribbon is much better than the YLI brand I had been using and doesn't fray as badly. The colors are very good and have that Victorian look I was seeking. I also bought the 20 spool set and love the array of colors.
