Sometimes I just want to quickly pull my hair up a bit differently than a ponytail. This takes care of business. It is well made but it IS plastic so eventually it will break. My first one lasted a couple years so I am okay with that. I don't have super thick hair and am doubtful this would work well for those that do.

Pretty + elegant. Firm hold all day. But... after less than a year of minimal use, it broke at the hinge this morning. Now In two pieces + tiny bit of plastic lost on the floor somewhere. I have similar hairclips from 30+ years ago that are still intact. Very disappointed.

Nice looking clips, nice neutral colors for fine blonde hair. A little a hard to open with one hand and reclose . I found seemingly identical clips made in France. Pack of 2 for about same price on Amazon. Awaiting delivery. Basic color of brown tortoise and black., If any of these break, I probably won’t order this more expensive brand, these are not very substantial, it’s an awful lot of money to pay. Nice to have for now, but if it breaks, I won’t re-order. I ordered gray snake and the blonde color, separately. I’ll re-review down the road if there is breakage, there really isn’t much to these for what you are paying per clip. Overall, they’ll serve me fine, my hair has thinned and become a finer with age, I am over 65. Bigger clips fall out. I have to keep my hair up and out-of-the-way for work. Seems like they will stay in place.

This was the PERFECT size!! Not large, not small but the perfect in-between size! Pretty and holds securely! I would not recommend for really thick hair! I love it!

I like the idea of this clip but not the execution. It's a good size and it looks nice. Unfortunately the pin holding the two pieces together does come out quite easily and it's difficult to clip shut. Definitely not worth price.

I love this hair clip because it is simple and not some huge, bulky clip.

This is a comically bad product. The hinge was loose and it snapped in half almost immediately. It’s also very small, smaller than advertised, and will not hold a ponytail.
