This case fit the Amazon Fire HD 8 perfectly. I bought the Fire 8 and this case for a Christmas gift for Christmas 2018, for my daughter who is 10. The color matches what is pictured perfectly also. It's soft but it is durable. She hasn't dropped it yet so I will try to remember to update when she does.
