Okay to have it
A good product but does not do much of tight curls rather more like weavy but that is bigger barrels are for, so no grudges.

Great iron at a good price
Let me start by saying I am not a professional stylist. This is for my home use only. I am very happy with it so far. The 1.5 inch barrel creates a lovely loose curl. You can set the temperature to your liking. This is a clip style iron. The clip is easily operated and hold the hair well during use. Good bang for your buck!

Bought 1 - 1.5 inches. My hair is thick and long down to my belly button.
Takes too long to heat up. I turned it on n waited 2 mins n it could not curl 1 hair strand. So, I had to brush my teeth n change clothes. So i say it takes 7mins to heat up. Took me 21mins to curl my hair!!! My other product, conair wand 0.5 -1 inces aka smaller curler, only took me only 12 mins. So what is my con n pro of this 1 to 1 1/2in curling iron????Con- took too long to heat up, my hair is thick n it was in the highest power level, 30, took 21 mins to finish my hair so best not to do before work, and wtf is the red blinking light when its on?! Im not sure if its broken on my 1st trial lol, n lastly the curls get loose/ flat quickly.Pro: looks like natural curls, my hair feels softer, wayyyyy less frizzy than my conair 0.5 -1in wand.Im not sure if id return it because i really got a good deal for a 1.5 inches curler. But its the same price as my 0.5 to 1 in wand. Im not sure if its because the bigger curler makes my hair loose/flat so quickly.

Always reliable
I purchased this curling iron (did not receive it free for review) after my last Revlon curling iron died recently after like 12 years! This one does not disappoint either, it is super easy to use, heats quickly and curls my hair perfectly. I love the way the tip is shaped which makes it easy to grip and the clamp has just the right amount of pressure to hold my fine hair. I do find the curling iron to be a top heavy when set down so it tilts forward but I just rest it on my sink lip to keep the heat away from my Formica bathroom counter. I haven’t had any trouble with turning it off accidentally due to the on off button location like some other reviewers have mentioned, I don’t find it to be a problem. I see many years ahead of reliable use if my last was any indication. Great product for a great price.

Love this curling iron
Love it! Got the 1 1/2. Have short hair! Cord twist so that it will not kink!

If it is not broken, don't fix it.
I have used this curling iron for many many years. I bought a new one recently as the old one had lived its life. The old one had a metal kick stand that you could adjust, the new one has a built in plastic one that is awful, no adjustment. You will need to position the iron halfway off your counter (almost the entire handle) to prevent burning your counter top with the iron. It is a poorly designed kickstand. The power button is now positioned where my thumb hits it constantly while styling. I keep turning it off which is very annoying. The old one had separate on off buttons positioned lower on the handle about a 1/4 inch lower but just enough to avoid hitting it while styling. The single button on off is fine, just position it to where is not in the way while styling. Again a poor design IMO. The clamp to hold your hair is not as strong either. Heat wise, it is adjustable and it does an adequate but I did notice it does not curl as well (maybe because of the clamp) I will be looking for another option.

Poor design to manipulate
Confess I bought for the pricepoint, but at least with a brand name. Wanted to add body to long hair I've been wearing ironed. This doesn't heat as well as my flatiron, and I miss the temp setting in degrees, rather than a dial i have to mentally translate. But the real problem is the on/off switch in awkward place, so I keep shutting it off as I section and curl. Frustrating.
