Cute and Comfortable
A very cute RED HAT - for those of us who need to protest current government fiascos, but do not have the time or talent to knit their own. It is comfortable, well-made and reasonably priced.

Way better than expected for the price.
I needed a beanie. I was hoping for chenille, but I just couldn't find one that fit. So I was looking at ALL of the berets and beanies that I could find, and they all...were just...meh. This one looked closest to 'It'll do, I guess' and came in a lot of colors, so I went with it. And now that it's been washed, it's a lot more than 'it'll do'. It's comfortable, it's *soft*, it's well-made, it drapes nicely, it fits well, it doesn't snag, it's not too hot or too light, it doesn't wreck my hair...it's better than the beanies I've been using and looking to replace by far. I love it!

Okay, but inaccurate color depiction
It is lightweight/thin and roomy. Fits my purpose. The purple is extremely dark; not like the model is wearing.

I like these hats a lot.
Exactly what I wanted. Light weight, with warmth but not hot, they do not scrunch my hair and the weave is attractive. I plan to sleep in them and wear them to the coffee shop too. The tag says dry clean, but I am sure I can gently hand wash them in water with a drop of dish detergent. If you want to be even more careful (probably not necessary,) use water with a little Woolite. The colors (I got five of them) are exceptionally nice. Charcoal is a soft black that is not harsh on the face. Both the lt blue and the pink are not too bright...perfect, soft colors. The beige and the lt grey are also perfect. These hats appear delicate and will need gentle care, but I really love them.

Thinner than I had hoped ➕ lots of loose strings
2026 UPDATE: A couple of seams came undone making it obvious this wasn’t knitted and was several sections sewn together (badly). I have a couple of holes where my hair shows through. Will soon put it in textile recycling. I didn’t even wear it often. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This beret is soft and is big enough for my head. It can mostly cover my ears and looks cute. I do wish it was thicker though. I didn’t try it on right away and was travelling when I got it. I figured ‘…it’s a hat …surely, it’s fine.’ So I didn’t check the inside. But it’s finished badly on the inside with lots of untied yarn. I don’t even want to cut any of it because I don’t want sections of the hat to unravel.

Love this Beret. Have changed from wearing beanie type hats. Berets are much more elegant. Looks expensive and very comfortable to wear. Perfect fit.
