Stainless Steel Math Set - With 12in Ruler, 2 Triangle Set Squares (45/90° & 30/60°), 6in Protractor - Precision Drawing & Drafting

It’s a nice set of drafting & drawing precision math set templates.

These items are perfect for heavy use or for occasional use. They are thick stainless steel so they aren't flimsy. They also feature cork padding on the back which minimizes paper tears and makes them easier to pick up off of a flat surface. The included ruler is about 13" long, which is substantially longer than the other items. I would rather have a 6" - 8" ruler included so that these would fit nicely in a small case. I found a nice, thick stainless 7" ruler at the local hardware store to substitute for the longer ruler.

Pros: * Stainless steel, beautifully finished. * Thick enough not to easily bend, while being light enough. * Corners on the triangles are not sharp, and are slightly rounded. Great for school as it reduces chances of accidental injuries. * Cork backing is excellent quality, thin enough to keep the equipment nearly flush to the medium being drawn on, but thick enough to afford scratch protection to the media being drawn on, and also extend some slide prevention (depends on the media) * Markings appear to be etched and printed, not just surface printed. This will ensure that they will last a long time Caution: * Not a very compact size, so it won't fit as a replacement to the plastic ones in typical school kits. Great for higher school grades, and advanced studies. May be too large for younger students. Recommended with caution on the limitations! Make sure the size is acceptable to you before you buy (just look at the printed length in inches on all pieces) Thumbs up for quality!!

Very high quality sturdy set. Having discovered a new found in interesting in drawing, sketching and making floor plans for fun I wanted something beyond what the local drug store had on offer in plastic. These looked sturdy in the online photos and I was very happy that when they arrived and I got to try them out they worked very well. Another reviewer on here commented it as a negative that these are corked backed, I personally find that a position adding extra grip and comfort when used on my large lined graph paper. The triangle has a 8 inch rule on it's side which can be used for a straight line measurements when the 12 inch ruler is a little too large for the job in hand. I only hold back 1 star because of the price, and would have liked a compass to have been included, but you get what you pay for I guess.

The product was well crafted (which is expected of Staedtler), but even nicer than I expected. Each piece was made of metal with the numbers lightly engraved into it. Each part of the set had a cork back to prevent scratching of wood surfaces. Overall, it was a great buy and it was well worth the money.

Once you used it, you know you made the right decision to buy this product. Solid and very good quality. Very happy!!

This is a great drafting kit for starters. I love the steel material because it lasts a long time and doesn't get dents on it like plastic rulers. The old school ones used to be steel on both sides and it would leave a metallic residue on the paper or just flat out tear it up. these have a cork-type material on the bottom that glides on paper effortlessly and don't leave a mark, so it works great. They might not be enough for the professional drafter because they are small in size, but if you are using a standard letter-size drafting notebook, they are more than enough. The ruler has both metric and imperial markings on it which is nice. The triangles only have imperial measurements on one side. It'd have been nice to follow the same pattern and include metric on them, but not a big deal. They also all have hang holes for easy storage. All in all they are good value for what they are and every bit perform as described.

I bought this for a young person who is hard on things. This is great! Each item has a cork backing to keep from scratching or tearing whatever is under it! This is awesome- the paper for this person's assignments does not tear. The only issue is the protractor, it's not easy to use. I wish it had a few large holes in it. It's a perfect Christmas gift for the rough and tumble geometry, trigonometry, algebra student in your life!!

The stainless steel version is the only version I’d recommend. The pieces are the right size, quality is nice.

Set square set come on imperial, the around corner makes difficult to set the square on your zero angle, the protractor difficult to set up the read because it has a tiny hole right in the middle and the cork behind the whole set makes impossible to use with a t-square (had to peel it off to use it). Quite disappointed ☹️

Necesitaba unas escuadras de metal pequeñas para hacer más fácil el corte de algunos cartones con los que debo trabajar con frecuencia. Por la excelente calidad del material y la calibración, este juego de geometría cumple con todo lo que necesito y para este uso particular es que le doy cinco estrellas. Sin embargo, hay que hacer notar algunas de sus características para quienes consideren comprar este artículo: 1. Las escuadras solamente vienen graduadas en pulgadas. 2. Todas las piezas tienen corcho por debajo ya que son reglas pensadas para dibujo técnico con tinta. Esto hace que tengan un grueso total de 2 mm, de los cuales un milímetro es del metal y el otro es de corcho. 3. Dos de las esquinas de cada escuadra vienen con un pequeño redondeado en los ángulos que no son de 90°.

Excelente juego de geometría, muy buena fabricación, en amazon lo encontré a muy buen precio puesto que en tiendas de oficina lo valoran a cerca de $1000, es muy agradable utilizar el juego de geometría, el corcho sirve para que no se resbalé sin embargo hubiera preferido que no lo tenga, sin embargo es solo una preferencia personal.
