Strong, a little tippy in the woods
So far very durable. I have grossly exceeded the size of log that you're supposed to use on this, and it's held up well. I've had a 10 ft long 8-in diameter iron wood log in it, and the only complaint that I have is the stabilizer foot could be wider. But it does work and work well.

Excellent product
I’ve sawed quite a few logs on this saw horse now and love it. My back feels great and my saw chain is staying sharp. Very sturdy and well built. Easy to use and makes bucking logs quick and easy. Assembly was easy, but because of previous reviews that reported issues putting it together, I actually read the instruction. Would recommend.

More like a 3 and a half rating rather a four
First off, the bad: When I started the assembly, the first bolt that I needed was missing and it wasn't one that I could easily replace on my own. I called Olympia Tools, left a message on their website, emailed and didn't get a positive response back that they would replace the missing bolt, but after about a week and a half a package just showed up with the replacement bolt and a few extra assorted bolts that I didn't need as well. Some kind of communication that it was on it's way would have been nice. The instructions could be a bit more detailed and the accompanying pictures a bit bigger and clearer but the only real fustration I had actually putting it together was getting the back legs on the unit. They are suppose to insert into the upright but the workmanship on the uprights wasn't exact and I had to hammer the legs into the upright units just to get the bolt holes to line up. That is almost the last thing you do to assemble it so it was very fustrating to get so far along with the possibility that I couldn't complete the assembly after all. A bit of pounding (and cursing) eventually turned the trick and the assembly was finished successfully. Now the good: It works fine. It folds for storage and only weighs 28 pounds so it's easy to carry to wherever you need it and open it up. I'm a 65 year old 5'6" woman in good condition but not a bodybuilder or power lifter by any means. It really helps to take the strain off your back while bucking firewood and prevents the chainsaw from accidentally touching the ground and dulling the chain. I'm never going to get a 660 lb log onto the sawhorse (the maximum weight it claims to hold) because I wouldn't be able to drag that much weight to the saw horse, but I've cut logs as long as 12 feet and 10" in diameter with no problem. Repositioning the chain for each new log takes a moment because of the latching mechanism that locks the chain on upward movement, but otherwise it's pretty quick and easy to set up for cutting multiple logs one after the other. I haven't yet tried cutting multiple small logs at once yet so I'm not sure how that will work but it claims you can do that. It seems steady and secure as I cut. I would recommend this for how it works. but not really happy about the problem with missing parts and the assembly issues.

Amazing purchase
I live in the woods so I cut down dead trees and cut up my own firewood regularly. This thing is an awesome tool that I'm glad I came across. Assembly wasn't too hard and I got to using it right away. So far I've put pieces of trees about 12 inches or so and 8 feet long on it and it holds them steady no problem. No more of the chainsaw getting pinched as i get close to cutting thru, no more holding the logs steady while i cut. This has made cutting up the trees and branches super easy and fast. It folds up nice and slim when not needed and then just unfolds and needs 2 pins to be ready for use. I recommend this to anyone who cuts up their own firewood and all regularly.

Exactly what I needed!
In cutting firewood I always struggled with keeping the log stable. I usually used my left foot to steady the log but it still moves and it felt unsafe. I saw this Olympia log holder and ordered one to give it a try. Took me about an hour to put it together. They use hex screws and one of them is quite large and I didn’t have a wrench large enough but I improvised to get it to work. Not a huge deal. Once I got it together I tried it out with a log that was about 8 inches in diameter and about 12 feet long. It held it perfectly! I was able to cut easily from both sides and the log didn’t move a bit. Cut a few more of various sizes and it worked great. I feel much safer cutting my firewood now and my back doesn’t hurt this morning!

exactly what I wanted
Ignore my son in the background (lol). I like it. I hate cutting wood from a pile but hate it more cutting from the ground . I found stacking 3 or 4 small logs work or 1 big one. Practice using it I only helped me get better. The instructions need to be improved and wish they just used reg bolts instead of key hole. Had to use vise grips to hold the big bolts (they were all metric). I gave it 5 star because It does exactly what I need it to do. Matter of fact, I might buy a second one so when I’m cutting on one I can have somebody prepare one while I cut so I can go from sawhorse to sawhorse. I feel is worth the money to get one. O, and it folds up nicely, hang it on the wall if you need.

Surprised how easy this holder is to use. Sure beats trying to cut logs on ground and propping them up with other logs. No assembly was required. Came folded flat for shipping. Just have to rotate 90 degrees and connect 2 diagonal supports with wing nuts. Just as easy to take down and fold flat for storage.

Very useful

This thing is great. Love it. Makes sawing limbs incredibly easy. I found that the pointed tangs a bit soft and tended to bend too easily in my opinion
