Let's Get Serious

At the height of his career, Jermaine was one of the most talented producers out there. The lyrics and arrangements are incredible. Unfortunately at the time of release, radio stations never quite knew what to do with The Jacksons. They didn't really fall into any particular genre of music...they were their own genre...making great, feel good music that made you want to dance. I had this on cassette and was so happy to find it on CD. Highly recommend for those fans out there. If you weren't a fan before, you will be after listening to this collection.

"Where are you now" "Your Suppose to keep your love for me" are two standout songs on this CD. Along with "Let's get Serious" this CD is one of his best. If your a fan of his, you won't be dissapointed.

Classic and underated album by Jermaine, all the songs are on point and stand the test of time:) Must have for true fans and sounds great on cd:)

This album came out in 1980 and I just heard it for the first time two weeks ago, omg, I listen to it every day.

Jermaine jackson Gold Album Put him back on the map

I had forgotten how Great this album is. The Japanese pressing is absolutely marvelous, with great sound reproduction. My CD arrived on time and I've been playing it almost no-stop ever since. Great production by Jermaine & Stevie Wonder on three of the 7 tracks. The other 4 tracks are just as good. No fillers to be found, by far Jermaine's best effort. I Love this CD.

it met my expectation. I have been looking for this CD for so long. I grew up with it and am still enjoying it. a very good classic to have in your collection. the two hit singles let's get serious and feelin free. I intend to be listening to it into my old age

This and the album that proceeded it 'Frontiers' are my favourite Jermaine albums.The two albums that followed 1980s 'Jermaine' and 81s'I like your style' have long been out of print. If the powers that be read this please can these long lost gems be reissued on cd?

Un très bon album de soul/funk dans la lignée de ce que les Jacksons avaient fait les années précédente!Plusieurs morceaux sont produits et composés par Stevie Wonder qui s'offre même un featuring sur la chanson titre!Pour certains cet album porte déjà les stigmates de la décennie dites "commerciale" que la soul a connu avec le disco et le funk 80's mais pour moi il s'agit juste d'un bon album, bien produit, bien composé, bien interprété qui reflète une époque magique que l'on ne retrouvera sans doute jamais dans la musique noir "grand public" et dont les arrangements encore bien influencés par les années 70 gardent un certain cachet!You Got To Hurry Girl aurait pu être un gros hit! Dommage qu'il ne figure même pas sur le best of de Jermaine!A placé au côté de "Off the Wall"et de "Diana"...
