Great Idea, terrible product
I've been looking for a solution to my problems with using the PS3 controller. I dislike the way the controller feels in my hands, so when I found the Cronus I thought my problem would soon be resolved. The Cronus Adapter arrived on time as expected and was in normal clam shell packaging. However, when I plugged the adapter into my PS3 and my wired Xbox 360 controller into the adapter I was greeting with absolutely nothing. No connectivity, no indication that the device was even working. After pouring over the poorly thrown together instructions included with the product I decided to take my search for answers online. first looking at the companies website. After tinkering with the included cable and the software that is not included (must be downloaded from their website) I managed to get the adapter to light up, with the display showing that it was ready to be loaded with a profile from the program. After setting everything up I plugged the adapter into my PC to test the setting to make sure everything was in working order. about four to five seconds after plugging the adapter into my computer, it blue screens and shuts off. Something my computer never does. So I thought that it was just a fluke. maybe my computer is just getting old. I shrugged off the looming thought of having to buy a new laptop and restarted the testing process and wouldn't you know it. The little adapter that wasn't doing squat just a couple hours ago was now an instant blue screen key of death. neato. So After this adventure in destroying my computer I unplug the device and put it up till the next day, when I can talk to their tech support to see if I can sort out the matter and get the little bugger working. But much to my dismay, although not surprising after seeing the quality of their product, their tech support is magically unreachable. Neither by phone or internet. So here I sit with a 70 dollar blue screen dongle.to cut it short; It's a junk product, that doesn't work, is over priced for not working, and has absolutely zero customer service to back it up. Save your money folks. it just isn't worth it.

Nice idea, terrible execution, abysmal and snarky customer service. If you're on a PC skip it.
What can you say about a manufacturer that's support is basically "too bad?" I purchased one of these because their site bragged it was compatible with Windows PC's and xBox One wired and wireless controllers. Well, it turns out that it only supports the wireless controller if you yank the batteries and use a cable. When I complained to them about this misleading advertising, the answers were...1) We do support the wireless controller. You need to use a micro-usb data cable. Kinda like requiring your cell phone to be hooked up to a wire, but still saying it's mobile.2) Learn to read. We mentioned this in the user manual and the update page. Er, yea. But I did not see the user manual until I purchased it, and there's no link to either on the product page.3) We're working on the xBox wireless controller and expect to have it soon. I did some Googl'ing. They used the identical line TWO YEARS AGO. So they obviously lack the knowledge and experience to make it work.4) Programming the controller while in-game (a feature they brag about) is next to impossible to use if you're on a PC. When I asked for some help on this the answer was "I already told you. Read the manual."They are 100% clueless on how to communicate with customers and totally lacking in customer service. If you are gaming on a PC you'll need some accessories: Tylenol, patience and some place soft to bang your head. I managed to get two features to work, but the trade-off was instability moving around (my character randomly spins in place and abruptly switches position.) Weapons switch randomly.

XBOX One & G27 Wheel
I got this device so I could use my Logitech G27 wheel with Forza 5 and Horizon 2 on an Xbox One. Ultimately, after several hours, I did get it working, but it requires having your XBOX, Cronus, and a PC all connected to work. It also does not support force feedback (but think they are working on it). Now, I have to decide if I want to dedicate a PC (laptop) to make this work, try the Max Race F-1 (crappy reviews), or get a wheel just for the Xbox (IMHO, none as good as the G27). All in all though, this may be the best way to tie a G27 to the Xbox, no lag and seems to be support in place to help the product evolve (hope, hope). Also, the plastic on the Cronus cracked, still works, but give me a break.Or, maybe I'll just stick with my G27 and GT6 on my PS3, awesome!

Nice piece of hardware, but don't expect any support
First off, there is NO such thing and "Cronus Device" anymore. To quote cronusmax.com:"The original cronus device is absolutely nothing to do with CronusMAX. That project was abandoned so Team Xecuter invested in the project by buying all of the stock from the original manufacturer... They then then helped us (the dev guys from the original team) by investing and helping us re-write the entire firmware and support tools and took it to the next level. We are also being helped with manufacturing and marketing and distribution. The old Cronus device will not work with any of the CronusMAX firmware or tools/plugins/modpacks."This means that there's no support for Cronus Device and no firmware updates either. So if one wants a working cross-over device out of the box, he should go for CronusMAX from official distributors. But what should be noted here is that as always there is a way to work this around. Some forum reading, some experimenting and who knows maybe your obsolete device can be turned into something more usable.
