Featherweight Viola Bag (C-3907V)

Great price for an excellent quality Viola case. My freshman daughter is in the high school orchestra and needed a case for an instrument that we already had. I was skeptical about how good of a fit it would be but it was perfect. The case is lightweight but well built and very padded for the viola. My daughter carries this to and from school every week and so far it has held up very well. I'd definitely recommend this case

I still own the viola I played in high school, 45 years ago. The old case died probably 20 years ago, and it's been leaning against the wall in the living room with all the other instruments. I wanted an inexpensive case for storage, and this case seems to work well for that so far. It fits properly, seems protective enough, and doesn't weigh much. I probably wouldn't want to use this as a primary case for carrying it around, as I would worry about the durability. (For my fiddles I have several hard shell cases and a Bam soft case that are far more protective but also cost far more.)

This case was purchased for my daughter's viola that was gifted to her by a relative. After a year using it the case fell apart. That was when I purchased this case. She has used it for the semester and it works very well securing her instrument.

Good case for the price.

Although advertised as a case for a 16 inch viola, mine would not fit.

I bought this mainly for how lightweight it would be, the protec oblong case my viola came to me in was so heavy and didn't have back pack strap options. I am a violinist who acquired a viola to use for teaching and just to have for fun, so this case is perfect for storing it and transporting it to and from work a few times a month. I definitely wouldn't recommend to use this case as an every day case for your instrument, mainly referring to students who would be taking it to and from school on buses each day. I don't think it would protect it from being dropped or from the weather. But for my situation it is great, and I am glad I was able to find an inexpensive lightweight case!

A basic case but decent for the price. It is one of those extremely light cases but should be fine if treated gently. My one complaint is that it is a bit on the small side for a viola case. It fit a smallish 14" viola but not a vielle. If you have a full size viola you might look beyond this one. For a basic student kit on a small viola, it is fine.

Bought this vase for my daughter's viola and it fits great and is lightweight for easy transportation to and from school
