True review here. This platform is very solid - no wobbling & quality wood. Putting it together was a LITTLE tedious but easy & plenty of hardware is supplied. I assembled it by myself. I like the finish & it blends in with my hardwood floors. There were 2-3 very, very minor scuffs on the wood but no one would notice, plus the frame is partly covered with bedding. One could probably buff them out if desired. I still give it 5 stars.

I like my mattress and box spring on the floor. But The sides of my box spring was dirty and it was starting to look very funky. I bought this and threw away the box spring. Wonderful buy. Top quality wood and very logical to put together. Wasn't sure what to expect with no reviews but wanted to make a point of adding a review to encourage others if they want a fairly unusual product that looks great and is well made.

It is a very sturdy bed and with my fiancé and I putting it together it only took an hour or two. Only problem is the gaps, fiancé is going to fix that problem. But for anyone who doesn’t have the time or patience to fill the gaps, don’t buy it. I bought it knowing I was going to have to fill the gaps with wood. My mattress is a queen size.

This is the best frame I've ever had. This frame replaced my $700 inferior frame. It was a breeze to set up, till we got to the part where you attach the head and foot board to the sides. But we got it attached. It is so sturdy and doesn't creak. I would compare this to a high end furniture store.

Very simple and beautiful. It’s not tall but I put lots of stuffs under our mattress. It didn’t take long time to assemble.

OK, I do give this 5 stars, and its worth it, but I thought it was designed with the concept/measurements for the King mattress to fit to the top with only maybe 2 or 3 inches not covered. I was wrong. If you push a standard King mattress all the way to the top of the bed you will have a large 6 or 7 inch space to deal with at the foot, your slats will be showing, if you put the mattress at the best bottom location you will have that same space open at the top, and with no head board options, you will have "pillow canyon hell" to deal with. I will need to create a custom headboard, as I don't like the design. Not the beds fault, it is a design some like, just not me.Added: This is also somewhat exacerbated by a name brand (Sealy), "bed in a box" mattress being about 2.5 inches shorter than a standard King.

Standard king size mattress shows holes which is going to be a massive injury risk.Returning it at this point is basically out of the question it would require an engineering degree to put everything back into the box.Love the color and easy to install, but terribly made forking size bed. Hopefully i dont get up in the middle of the night, get my food stuck in the crack, and break my neck on my night stand.And pushing the bed flat to the wall to not have a “pillow hell” i get what you see in the 3rd picture. First two pictures are of the bed in the middle. I would not recommend anyone to buy this

Let me start by saying, I'm super disappointed this bed didn't work out for us. We ultimately had to return it for a refund. The quality is great. It was easy to put together and very sturdy! Why it didnt work out for us is that the dimensions were off. We have a king size mattress and I feel confident that the bed frame could fit a cali king. There was a huge gap at the bottom showing the slats. I have small kids, and having a hole go along the whole bottom of the bed is a huge safety hazard for them. Maybe other sizes are exactly as they should be, but the king is WAY too long.
