It is Not a Koenig, It’s plastic, but it workd
It is NOT a Koenig edition, it is made of plastic, whilst the original Koenig is made of metal.Once taken out of the box I immediatly consulted the four sided user guided, as I realised I could not just plug it in and Go.It is confusing and hard to follow. Inadequate descriptions or guide on how to use it with knives, scissors or anything else for that matter. I sought out the original Koenig videos and only the. It made sense. Photo illustrations very poor quality and parts are hard to ID.Once I figured it out, watched the video a wuickly got to grips and I managed to get some lovely sharp kitchen knives. In the box you also find 4 different grade belts from coarse to mefium fine 1000 pg..For old kitchen knives it is best to start with a 600 grit belt then to get rid of any burrs or lower, then work up to the 1000 or higher. One can get belts (from other manufacturers) with higher grits and even a leather one for Master chef quality
