Old hands might have trouble opening the holder
The legs are super adjustable-and easy to bend. The phone holder is very stiff and resists manipulation . Once you manage to get it open wide enough , get your phone in , dont try to adjust the angle or the phone falls out .! It takes many tries to work with this device. It does work great, once you get the hang of it .

sturdy - 4/5, overall 4.5/5
This trip pod is surprisingly sturdy and flexible .I own a number of flexible tripods and by far this ones legs are the most stable while still being very flexible . The cradle that holds the phone is the only down side it is made of cheap plastic and it doesn't expand the the width of my phone with a case bumper (Moto g2 force). The head of the tripod is strong and was able to hold up my dslr(cannon D60) with a 75-200mm lens. Overall this trip pod is fantastic the only drawback is the included phone cradle .

A very good tripod for beginners with one caveat.
As a new patron of the video capturing and editing industry, I wanted to start off with less expensive products that would "get the job done." I needed a tripod for my iPhone 7 that was malleable for the purpose of capturing various video and photo in unique locations and angles. To say the least, the Acuvar 12" flexible camera tripod, with its forward and back tilting mechanism, its quick-release plate, and its universal smartphone mount, does all of that and more. It allows you capture 360 degree video by twisting the universal smartphone mount whilst connected to the tripod. This product, though, is not absolutely perfect, but still deserves a five-star review. The tripod is made out of very sturdy hard plastic and used very malleable rubber for its "feet." The alternating red and black rubber parts of the tripod legs are very bendable and can extend out to lie flat as well. The tilting mechanism is very sturdy and locks in place with a screw knob. The quick-release plate is engaged using the designated button; one pushes it in and it releases the quick-release plate unless you engage the knob that prevents the quick-release button from engaging. The quick-release plate slides in and out easily of the tripod mount. The universal phone mount holds both my iPhone 5S and my iPhone 7 securely via rubber padding, dampening the clamping force of the phone mount onto your device. My only complaint is the physical screw that connects the quick-release plate and the universal phone mount. You must hand tighten it if you decide to not keep the smartphone locked in one position.Definitely a great recommendation for those new to capturing more "professional" videos and photos without going over budget.

Missing parts, incompatible
The tripod portion seems pretty stable and flexible, but the screw that should attach to a camera is too long and isn't compatible with a flat or philips screwdriver. The screw is not attached to the tripod, it just passes through a hole which allows it to spin freely. Since it is too long it doesn't allow fully tightening it (because the screw bottoms out in the two cameras that I tried it on) so the camera spins freely. The phone bracket and bubble level are both missing. There's a place where a bubble level would fit but it wasn't included in the box.I'm going to try adding a rubber washer to fix the issue with the screw being too long. I think that'll probably work. But it's still inconvenient that the screw head is a weird sort of rounded out philips-like head instead of being a hex head molded rigidly into the plastic.

Great Tripod For Cell Phone
I saw this tripod used buy a friend and I asked how they liked it. They said they loved it so I asked where they got it and they sent me the Amazon link. I just used it this weekend. I do videography and I was streaming online at the same time with my cell phone. I was able to attach this tripod to my Video tripod, by wrapping the legs around my bigger tripod. This worked out perfect and it helped me to stabilize my iPhone X perfectly. Next I'm going to try it with my Note 9. I have a case on my Note 9, but I believe its the same width as my iPhone X with the case on it. Both cell phones have cases on them, but I was happy this weekend because I didn't have to hand hold my cell phone while streaming live video footage. I love this gadget and I will probably buy a second one for more travel usage and use the other in a stationary place! This is not a complaint, but just as I am able to pan the camera with my large video camera, I would have liked to do that with this smaller tripod. To be able to pan with this small tripod would be excellent! I'm still going to use this tripod because of its flexibility, which is great, but that would be perfect for my usage, it just a suggestion to the makers of this product!

flexible and strong!
This is the 4th one I have purchased. The first, the spring to hold the phone tightly DID wear out after about a year of frequent (3-4 times a week, hours at a time) use.The second, one of the legs liked to come.loose, but it was easy to put back in. That one ended up going through a housefire and still working... but smelling like structural fire. The third, bought at the same time as the second, has no issues at all. So this one, the fourth, seems to be just as well made as the third.

It’s a nice flexible phone stand
I know I could’ve bought this cheaper elsewhere but whatever. It works great. I used it maybe 2 times and now it’s just laying around somewhere in the house. It’s one of those products you want then it’s like why did I buy this? No matter I would recommend this to people if they really need one and would use it.

impressive sturdy tripod
I purchased this unit to replace one that was too small - shown in the photo. It was very reasonably priced and I was not expecting the quality of this tripod. For a flexible unit it is quite sturdy and even has some features I would not expect at all. Being more used to full size medium format camera equipment, I thought this tripod almost a toy, I was Wrong. The safety lock to prevent accidental detaching of the camera plate is ingenious and easy to implement. I wouldn't hesitate to use for a phone or small camera.. It will certainly hold the webcam I bought it for. The phone mount seems to be a bit on the small side, it barely fits my Pixel 5 which is not a large phone, so it likely wouldn't work for big phones, however since it is a 'free' add-on I can't fault the construction from a quality stand point. I like the red/black colour scheme, and the full ball head implementation. Overall a good value that should prove useful.

You carry it along anywhere , very light weight.Additionally customer service provided by the vendor is excellent. When my product was initially delivered, someone had stole it from my mailbox, then vendor shipped a replacement product without any questions. Thumps up!
