Very soft, very light.
Perfect for what I needed. These seem soft enough for young kids and the connecting pieces and chain are not plastic and seem sturdy so far.

Works Great
These were for my grandson. The first pair came apart pretty quickly but I bought him another set and they have been holding up well. They are perfect for beginners as they don't hurt if you get hit with them.

IMMEDIATELY BROKE
the product seemed nice at first. to give a compliment to the seller, the handles were comfortable and well padded and the nunchucks do look very nice. However, immediately upon opening them and testing them the metal piece attaching the chain to the handle broke out and my son was very disappointed.
