Can’t live without it
If I have access to a dishwasher, I’m using this. It cleans great. It has wonderful ingredients in comparison to others. It last me about two and a half months running 1-2 loads a day. No scent and appearance is like white powder.

Does the job and much cheaper than pods.
I am kind of new to using a dishwasher (but hooked now...) and I tried many kinds of dishwasher soap. Every other kind of soap was way more expensive that this, or had too much fragrance. This is just simple, economical, a box lasts a LONG time, and it works great! For a while I couldn't get this in my supermarket (I think the company was changing the packaging) so I got it here on Amazon for a while. But now its back in my supermarket.

Favorite powder dish detergent!
We have well water and it tends to be on the harder side, and we have found that powders work the best for us. I love that it is fragrance free because I had the after smell and taste on dishes and utensils from scented detergents. I can taste them no matter how well cleaned and rinsed, so this being totally fragrance and essential oil free is the best! It’s a standard white powder that removes food and spots really well. It’s got one of the better spouts and doesn’t really ever leak or make a mess, which with any detergent is highly appreciated. Will continue to purchase

Free & Clear = No scent, which is wonderful!
These are less expensive than the name brands but work even better in the dishwasher! Been using them for a long time and will continue. Highly recommend.

Wow! Surpassed My Expectations
I have used Cascade dishwasher detergent for as long as I can remember - since that is what I grew up with and knew. Cascade is effective and it is reliable. However, the scent of Cascade is disgusting! I have used powders, liquids and gel pods (pods for the past 6 years or so) and regardless of the scent I chose, my dishes would all have a very strong, nauseating odor and subsequent taste after using the pods. It got to the point that I couldn't even use my cutting boards since the taste and odor transferred to our foods.I won't even get into the fact that some of the pods would stick together in the package and rip then leak. Or sometimes the gel pack would stick to the tray or hide at botttom of washer instead of dissolve, meaning I had to fish it out, toss it, put a new one in and run the washer again. Grrrr. When we moved to our new home which is on well water, my dishwasher and dishes began to also take on a very unpleasant, kind of "dirty" smell after using the Cascade pods. I began doing a sink wash AFTER running the dishwasher, which is a complete pain on the rear, waste of time and waste of money/water.There are very few unscented or "free and clear" dishwasher pods on the market and my research kept leading me back to Seventh Generation. I didn't have high hopes for a mostly natural detergent pod, but gave it a whirl.Woo. Hoo!The pods are completely unscented and are a pure white powder. No gel or colors. I have used the pods three times in the three days since they arrived and I am a convert. Not sure how these little unassuming pods pack so much awesomeness, but regardless of how full the dishwasher is, what cycle I am running or what is inside the dishwasher, my dishes have come out spotless. No clouding or hazing.Zero scent or taste is left on my dishes. No weird smell leftover in the machine. These Seventh Generation Pods are fabulous. I didn't know I had it in me to get so revved up about a dishwasher detergent, but I truly am. I have already bought the liquid dish soap to replace my trusty Dawn as well as other Seventh Generation household cleaning products. I was that impressed. The true test of Seventh Generation products as a brand will come if /when I try their laundry detergent in place of my beloved Tide Free & Gentle (baby steps - haven't ventured there yet). While Seventh Generation is not 100% natural, it is a heck of a lot greener and less toxic than my former products and based on the power and performance of these pods, I will gladly continue to pay a bit more money. What a find!

Great Product
This dishwasher soap was not like others , it was a great consistency that worked very well in my dishwasher, and didn’t leave any residue. I meant to order Cascade, but I am glad I got this one instead ! I like it much better than Cascade, it left the dishes sparkling clean . I would definitely recommend it.

Odor Free Clean Dishes
Got tired of the overpowering smell eminating from my dishwasher when using other brands of dishwashing detergent/pods. Bought the box of powder because I wanted to control the amount of soap used. One box lasted over 2 months which I think is fantastic value since it is odorless and cleans my dishes as well as- if not better than Finish tabs (about $20 for 3 months supply from warehouse store). I don't let food get stuck on the dishes prior to loading but use (and reuse) a small amount of water to swish off any debris. The dishes always come out very clean. I love that I don't have to run the stove exhaust fan anymore while the dishwasher is running!

The powder works but the hole it comes out of makes a mess everywhere
We love this company and enjoy the liquid form of this detergent. We need the free-and-clear so there is no scent and they were out of stock, so we tried this. We won't do that again. It made a huge mess every time we poured it out. This is an awesome company and we will continue to buy many different products from them and support them. We'd suggest just looking for the liquid detergent instead of the powder.

Effective and free of chemicals
In an effort to avoid cleaning products which are laced with chemicals, we tried several of the more "natural" brands of dishwasher pucks. While some are less effective, we found that these Seventh Generation pucks are an excellent and effective alternative to the chemical products. They not scented and they leave dishes and glassware clean and clear. The only situation where they do not match the effectiveness of the conventional pucks is where thick food has been allowed to harden on plates and a short washing cycle is used. We think it is totally sensible to simply quick tap-rinse heavy residue prior to loading washer. We use only the one-hour short cycle, thus saving hot water, and everything comes out sparkling clean. We highly recommend this product if you are concerned about harsh chemicals touching your dinnerware and cutlery. Price is competitive.

Cleans really well!
I have been using the detergent with the red ball or red liquid in the center for years. It does work well to remove grease and stuck on food but as you know, it kinda smells like chemicals once the wash and dry cycle has been completed. I also found the dishes weren't as dry as they could be, despite the use of a drying aid.I decided to give this a shot. There's no smells that I can detect and it does a great job with the heavily stained dishes. I haven't noticed much of a difference between this an the other brand I was using. I also found my dishes dried better. I'll continue to purchase this when I run out. This is a great product!

Cleans Well
I’ve tried a lot of natural detergents. This one is by far the best. Dishes get clean comparable to standard brands. There’s also no scent Which is what I was looking for, mostly for my silicone utensils and dishes (they pick up fragrances and then your food and utensils taste like soap!)

A few dishes left greasy
Just tried it for the first time today and it doesn't do as good of a job as Cascade, but that's usually the case with "cleaner" products (more natural, biodegradable, etc). A few dishes were still a bit greasy to touch, but overall not too bad. Got this on sale for approximately $0.15/pod so it was worth a try, though I probably won't be paying full price for it.
