Selecting the right leaf blower comes down to your yard size, and budget. We also want to look at maneuverability, versatility, and weight. In my opinion, the Scotts Outdoor Power leaf blower is a perfect fit for most household. It works great on most typical lawns, porches, and gazebos.Before you make your decision, if you’re planning to move a lot of leaves and such, there are couple of things you should consider. Power is important but you want to find a leaf blower that has a balance of two important things. CFM (cubic-feet-per-minute) and MPH (miles-per-hour).A mistake buyers make is to based their decision solely on a high MPH. Naturally, a higher MPH will mean the air will be coming out faster from the barrel but the more leaves there are, the blower needs to do more work. Higher speed doesn’t mean there is more leaf blowing power; it just means air will be coming out faster. What you need to look at actually is CFM of the blower in addition to MPH.CFM is the volume of air that flows out of the leaf blower’s tube in one minute. A higher number CFM means the leaf blower will have more power to move things. The number of CFM translates to how far the fan pushes the leaves in a specific area.I always look first to the blower’s CFM and then to its MPH. The Scotts outdoor power blower has a 500 CFM with a 140 MPH ranking. These numbers should be adequate for most household. Naturally, you could find another blower with a higher rating but you will also be going up in price. In my opinion, this blower provides a good balance between CFM and MPH in relationship to cost.The last two things I will mention are weight and noise. The Scotts outdoor power blower only weighs 5 pounds, which means your arm shouldn’t get too tired. In addition, this blower is not extremely loud. In the past, I had a blower, which sounded like a jet plane taking off.I can highly recommended the Scotts outdoor power blower for most typical households.

I bought this for my daughter to remove snow in MInnesota...I saw a similar blower used at a Minnesota Rest Stop...Thought I would see if it was possible...We were surprised that it did work on lighter snow or dusting s. It does not work well on really wet snow or a big heavy snow. Mainly the powdery white fluffy stuff and this blower blew off the driveway and sidewalk as long as no one walked on it or drove over it before blowing it...Pleasantly Surprised that this blower had the power to blow the snow and was very light weight. Took a few minutes and the job was complete! Expecting it to work just as well when spring arrives on grass clippings and during fall on moving those leaves. PERFECT PRODUCT YEAR ROUND! Ended up buying a 2nd one! Highly Recommend!!!

Easy to use. Holds charge long enough for small jobs. Power is adequate but not as strong as power blowers

The battery and charger expelled fumes into the air made me nausea and a trip to the ER. Company needs to test batteries and charging stations for hazards for customer use.

Does not work as great as described,not a lot of air speed unless you use the turbo button. Battery doesn’t last very long either

Plenty of power to blow leaves. Has a boost function for stubborn leaves. Really light weight. I was going to buy the 40 volt model, but the 64 volt option was a better buy at the time on amazon. Scotts has a lot of other devices for the 64 volt option.

Right out of the gate I should have been wary. The first delivery time was delayed and there was no update to when it would be delivered. After calling Amazon they shipped me one immediately. Good Service as always. Being a 62 volt battery pack and after reading the specs and the reviews it sounded like an excellent choice, albeit a hefty price tag... But we were not happy with either the power it provided nor the short battery life. Also, it does not have a lock button so you have to be pressing the trigger all the time. Needless to say I tried to return it but alas, I was 7 days over the 30 days (although I vaguely remember something about a longer time to return policy by Scott)So unless you're using it to blow away the dust in the attic, be aware.

Works great blowing leaves off my deck and walkway! Light enough for me to use easily.
