Strong metal rail and hanging mechanism for clothing
This rail is a nicely polished chrome and feels strong to the touch. The pole itself could take a fair bit of weight but take care not to overload the supports as the screws are not particularly deeply set. Bear in mind that the screw heads are difficult to get completely flush as there is very little recess in the holes they pass through - you might find you need to shave a couple of extra mm off the pole for an easy fit. A small hacksaw wasn't quite enough to cut the metal easily or swiftly (a good thing!) and so I resorted to the Dremel which made light work of it.

Very difficult to cut to size
Arrived on time and well packaged. Rail feels very sturdy but brackets cheaper quality. Tried to cut to size first with junior hacksaw with metal blades then with hacksaw with metal blades. Even tried a jigsaw with metal blades. After a very considerable time have only scratched throughthe chrome coating. Had to throw it away as had made a scratch in it and couldn't return. It's a pity because obviously a strong hanging rail. Would have been perfect if I'd had an angle grinder.
