Better than expected
(FTC #AD) The seller reached out to me and asked me if I would be willing to review this product and since I live in the country I said yes. We live on a couple of acres and we always have wildlife like bears, coyotes, opossums, armadillos and more that wander through our yard at varying hours of the day and night. So when the seller offered to send me money through PP and asked me to review it I said I would leave an honest review after I tested it out so here it is.Pros:Motion detection works very well.Night vision pictures and video are clearer than I expected. It can do pictures, or video, or both pictures and video. There are a lot of options you can select and pick from.It offers many forms of mounting. It has the ability to be plugged into power.Comes with a Micro SD card to save photos and videos.Has the ability to plug into your computer fright from the device.Cons:The fabric strap given with the item isn't long enough to go around most of our Oak trees. The face it takes 8 AA batteries I think is a waste. I would have much rather seen those rechargeable batteries that are like 2400 mah and it has the space for up to 4. That would have been much better in my opinion. It killed the batteries in 3 days tops.Other than the cons with the batteries I think this is a great product. Its pretty heavy duty and I live where it rains a lot so the fact it seems waterproof enough to go through a typical hurricane I can't wait to use this during storm season to catch the view of the trees in the storms. I swear I think I need 3 more of these to place around the property.

Inadequate Instructions with no information on settings
This is the most Non-User Friendly device I ever used. The instructions do not explain the meaning of ANY of the settings, some settings are common sense but others clearly are not and require explanation. When I look at the camera in the morning I have thousands of photos that would take hours to click thru one at a time. By trial and error one could eventually figure out the meaning of some of the settings to reduce the number of photos but it is not easy because they give you nothing to go on. No explanation of the side motion sensors, whether they are required or not or how they would help capture a photo of what set the camera off. So more trial and error, another hour wasted. I had to use needle nosed pliers to jiggle the battery compartment open. I have had this camera for over a year and I am writing this review because I am still very frustrated with it.

Overall, good quality for the money
We have had this for about a month now. It is hit or miss overall. The pictures it does take are fantastic quality, it just doesn't always pick up movement. After reformatting the seller provided SD card several times, we eventually used our own and that seemed to help. Battery life has been great, no issues there. Quality of pictures/video is great as well. Seller was very responsive to our complaints and did refund some money to accommodate the SD card issue. I would say I would purchase it again. It is a good camera for the money. I just removed a star for the hassle.

Ok game cam
It’s an alright game cam. I bought the first one and loved it so much I bought another within a month of running the first one. I should have waited because now both cameras go off like crazy no matter the ‘high, medium, or low’ sensitivity setting. I’ll go check the camera and it will have 4,000 pictures of trees and nothing. It’s not due to the wind either, they just go off all the time. I took one down and let it sit dead for a while, I put it back out a few days ago so we’ll see.

Only buy if you already own and use a similar one.
No usage instructions.Setting up is just a guess. It appears - I’m not sure because the user manual is so pathetic - that every motion triggers a photo followed by a video. I had 3500 motions in one night and ALL of them were bugs. The symbols engraved on the buttons are almost impossible to see - what a horrible design! - and nothing is labeled. It’s probably nice, but how would I know?

Bought this for yard security - so far so good!
I don't hunt so my purpose of purchasing this was to figure out who is stealing decorations from our yard.Ended up placing it in between some bushes pointing at the decorations and waiting for the perpetrator to get caught.Tested out the night vision and it's as good as you can expect for night vision. The infrared lights are pretty bright and can easily light up 15 feet in front of the camera as long as you are not blocking them. The LCD is good enough to use for setting up the camera but I wouldn't expect anyone to be watching the footage on there. It's pretty decent though for going thru any snapshots the camera took. The motion detector is very sensitive - i wish there was a way to tone it down a little but I guess it's doing what it's supposed to do. Takes 8 AA batteries and I can't speak for the longevity as we've only been using the camera for 10 days now and the batteries are still full. Love the rugged look, design, and cammo look as it is pretty much invisible in the bushes. I hope they end up adding WiFi to these cameras so that I can get notifications on my phone. It comes with a 32GB micro SD card, carrying strap, mounting bracket, elbow, and screws.

Don’t buy this, not worth it.
Bought this camera to get up close photos of a bobcat and deer that frequent our yard. I have now watched deer and a bobcat walk past this camera within 5ft a minimum of 8 times from our back door and it captures nothing. It is very good at capturing photos of the area it’s pointed at when nothing is moving though. If you are looking to take multiple poor quality, motionless photos of whatever it is pointed at then this camera is for you. I had 29 files of the same trees and zero photos of the moving deer right in front of the camera. Range is not the issue either, the deer went from within 5ft up to 20ft away and it captured zero pictures or video. I changed the resolution and sensitivity to every different setting thinking it would help......Nope! Guess that’s what I get for not going to Bass Pro or Cabelas.
