Fabulous sequel(s)
Rosie Clark is the queen of fabulous sequels. How I love these stories on Mulberry Lane!!! She weaves sad and happy tales together into a great story that leaves me happy and content at the end of the book, much like leaving a buffet with a full stomach with no room for another morsel.

Beautiful way to end a series
The final book of the Mulberry Lane series was not a disappointment. What a beautiful series to read and what a beautiful way to end, but with The Women of Mulberry Lane. The entire series primarily revolved around Peggy, Janet, Maureen and Anne, women who supported and held their families up during a pivotal and trying time in all of Europe, WWII. These women nursed, cooked, ran business, dried tears, but mostly kept the home fires burning while all of Europe was in utter chaos. The Women of Mulberry Lane (Mulberry Lane #5) wrapped up the lives, loves and loses of these women, and will leave the reader with a sense of closure and satisfaction. As a reader if you love historical fiction with strong women, a great story-line and lasting friendships, then this series is for you.

Holiday read
The series probably deserves 3 stars. While it was ok for holiday reading by the 5th book I was getting pretty bored.

Good weekend read
It was a great weekend read escape after a long week. Last in the series of books. Enjoyable ending for all the characters storylines

Love a happy ending
I have followed through the entire series. The characters were written so they became your friends and wanted them to succeed holding it together during WW2. The author kept the characters real warts and all.

Another Smash Hit!
I have read all of the Mulberry Lane books and this, the last one in the series, was not a disappointment. As good as the others, it had me chuckling in places, crying in others and desperate for the book not to end. I hate it when things end, and this series has certainly been up there with some of my favourites over the past few years. What I would adore is if a sequel to this series could be written, set, in maybe the late 1950s, early 1960s, where the children of the main characters were now enjoying their late teens/early 20s and we got to see what becomes of them. It'd also be a great way to find out if life treated our favourite characters well. Oh, I can dream!!If you're struggling to find a new series of books to read, I fully recommend the Mulberry Lane books - they're brilliant.

Why can't I listen to this book?
Why oh why is there no Audible version of this book?I have problems with my vision so find it very difficult to read a book but I love listening to audiobooks. By doing this I have managed to "read" all the other Mulberry Lane books and have loved every single one. When this final book was first available I pre-ordered it, expecting there to be an audible version available once it was published, as has happened in the past. Much to my disappointment there is still no audible version of this book available which means I cannot read it. I cannot understand why, as all the other books in the series have been available on audible, that this one has not been recorded as well . I have given the book four stars as I know it will be a very good book, but as I cannot hear it and read it I am unable to give it five stars I'm sure it deserves .

Absolutely brilliant yet again
I’ve just finished this wonderful read, it was just wonderful, when the book was sad, I cried. When it was happy I smiled. I really felt as if I was there when reading all about life on the lanes. When you start reading you simply can’t put them down. I was reading until 3 in the morning!I’ve now read all of the Mulberry Lane series and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. I feel sad that there ‘possibly’ won’t be any more. Please write another book about the futures of the families that used to live in Mulberry LaneA truly amazing author, absolutely amazing.

It was a long heart wrenching war for the Women of Mulberry Lane!
Another heart wrenching book in the close-knit life of the women in Mulberry Lane, East End of London! But they saw WWII though to celebration and moving on with life. Some bits of this book were slightly repetitive hence dropping one star. I only have one more book to read in the series but I am going to have a break and read something else first. I think I will enjoy the final one better if I leave it a little while.

Mulberry Lane!
Yet, another brilliant story of the Mulberry Lane community. This story takes you to the end of the war with all the ups and downs of this community. I was so sorry to reach the end of it. It is a recommended read from me. Rosie Clarke pulls a brilliant read off once again!
