Paper Pieced Modern: 13 Stunning Quilts • Step-by-Step Visual Guide Paperback – March 1, 2015

I have just started to read it and it is making sense on how to do paper piecing. Great i structions and has nice quality pictures. I really want to make this quilt. I am a newbie at paper piecing.

I bought this because I was fascinated with the cover quilt. Now that I've studied the book, I'm very impressed with the clear instructions and numerous illustrations. If I only make the one quilt, it will be worth the price of the book. I think there is something here for everyone from the beginning paper piecer to the most advanced. Love it!

I love this book and the quilt projects in it. I'm just very disappointed that when I received it, 15-ish pages were dog-eared or curled inside the soft cover in several places within the book. I bought a new book, not a damaged book and was sad that I had to "fix" it.

I fell in love with the Faceted Jewels design the first time I saw it. The book has excellent directions for paperpiecing sharp angles to make sure your fabric covers the space. It is something I have struggled with in the past, but now have a fool proof technique to follow.

Love this! The patterns in the back are large! Which is great! It's much easier to shrink them than enlarge, at least for me. I saw the cover quilt done as a mini and knew immediately I needed this book. It's got several great patterns that I've seen making the rounds in the cool kids quilt circles. Also several other patterns that are great. I added 6 pictures of the ones I like the best.

I tweaked her book and used made templates for the guilt instead of using paper. It seemed like it was too many steps. The outcome is still a gorgeous abstract quilt.

I really enjoy this book and will be making good use of it. Complexity is great for beginners and pros.
