i have a dell inspiron 660 with a max of 8gb. i read online that it could recognize more, but other places said it couldnt. this memory was a great price, so i gave it a shot. i now have 16 gig of ram. and its running great.

I received the RAM in a thick A4-sized envelope, and the RAM was inside another smaller envelope that had an air-bubble nylon layer. The package arrived on time. Finally, I installed the RAM directly into my PC, and they are working very well. I am pleased with the quality of the service and the items as well.

The media could not be loaded. Gave this laptop a few more years. Really easy to install in this old Dell. The laptop was running a 32 bit version of Windows 10 because it only had 4GB of RAM before. Windows 64 bit is a memory hog. But as you can see this is much more capable of multitasking. Before there was virtually no free memory, just by the OS. The impressive boot time is mostly because of the SSD, but RAM also plays a role in the boot process. RAM will usually not speed up your computer unless you are out of RAM and the OS is constantly writing to the disk. You can check if you have enough memory by going to the task manager, for windows. If you are running linux then you probably know what to do. If you are running a Mac then you probably don't ever want to upgrade: why upgrade when you can buy something new with a little better specs and drop an entire paycheck on this. Can you tell that I have issues with Apple? Anyways if you are out of memory, you will see a slowdown.
