Dewalt Lighted Technician's Tool Bag

So I boiught this for two reasonsFirst- It says DEWALTSecond- It is made by CLC (Custom Leathercraft)These are two companies I have bought from for years. I know Dewalt tools- I have a lot of them, and I buy CLC exclusively for my bags, gloves and tool holders. I know the quality of both are high. This bag does not dissapoint.It is heavy duty, great material and sewn tight. I like the pocket arrangements and the dimensions of the bag (being more upright than long or short sides). I use this for mainly for interior work at a job,, and it works great- keeps everything upright, not falling out- stays stable and everything has got a place. Plenty of room on the inside for my cordless, and even the biggest, heavies pliers sit securely in the deep pockets. The light is handy as it shines brightly down anywhere I need it too. Heavy handles, comfortable carrying strap, front flap that doubles as a work surface- it all adds up to a very nice, extremely handy bag for moving with your tools around the job.

This bag has a lot of pockets that the tools fit in well. It has been my go to bag. My only complaint would be that too many tools in the front pocket and the bag will start to lean in that direction. Too heavy of tools in the inner pockets and they start to sag to the middle of the bag making items in the bottom hard to get to.

This bag is almost perfect. The zippered tool pouch is a little small for taller tools but those I keep in the main compartment, but its fantastic to keep every out of site. Lots of pockets everywhere. Opposite side open pockets fit impact and drill bit cases which is a huge win. Main compartment I keep a full size drill driver impact driver and flashlight all with batteries on the and they stand up. The bag can support a lot of weight. Handles are super strong. The last three weeks I have been raising and lowering from roof top from hands. Only down side the should strap is uncomfortable and can't hold as much weight the clips on the strap bent. But over all my favorite bag I found for my purpose as a drill/driver/hand tools bag

I use this every day. Lots of pockets inside and out. Very well-made, sturdy, easy to get your tools.

The DGL573 is a really nice bag, plenty of room in the main pouch area to stow larger tools and parts, so cavernous you could fit a laptop in it and still close the zipper, I use it as a trashcan/dump bag for zip tie ends from the looks of it. I have used the bag for over a year now and it has been soaking wet, frozen stiff as well as blistering in the sun at the summit of a landfill and has performed its function well.The light on the bag which was not a selling point for me is kind of cheap, battery compartment fell apart within the first month of owning the bag, but the light will stay closed on its own so it worked out. The only real fault I have with this bag is the strap clips bend out of form and will fall off every time you set the bag down. I'm sure I overload this thing beyond its recommended weight but after bending the clips back into form you'll get a few weeks out of it before it becomes an issue again. Business card holder/ID tag is kind of funky, could only hold one card and the material covers most of the margins of the business card.Bag is great for a traveling tech who needs to carry quite a lot into inconvenient locations, and will protect your tools. I would not purchase another bag as I'm extremely interested in the Veto ProPac line of bags, but recommend it for techs looking for a good bag that will do the job and hold up.

I'm not sure who was more excited when UPS dropped off the Amazon box earlier this week - my wife or I.I do various odd jobs and repairs around my house and volunteer in theatre set construction. As I gain wisdom (age) my eyesight isn't quite what it used to be. I liked the idea of an LED light equipped bag to help me better organize my tools for various uses AND to help me to both see what is lurking at the bottom of the bag and looming around me in the dark caverns of my basement and the theatre.My wife, on the other hand, was just happy to see me organizing my tools so that I could most easily grab the bag with the right repair tools for the ever present "Honey Do" list.I loaded up the bag with two new AAA batteries and my most commonly used home repair tools and supplies. The size, shape and number of organizational possibilities that this tool bag has is terrific - easy to get to the side pocket which zips fully open, revealing 24 different spots to organize everything from pens and pencils to screwdrivers, knives, stud finders,... you get the picture.The outside of this side pocket has an additional 3 storage pockets, one zippered, plus a place to hang a tool with a carabiner. The other side has four larger pockets and the ends have further organization / storage opportunities, including a perfect spot for my tape measure to always be easily accessible.The inside of the bag (easily viewable from the LED light has 6 additional side pockets for storage, and allows for plenty of room for my drills, bits, impact drivers, trusty cordless saw and other such tools.I'm thoroughly DELIGHTED with the functionality of the bag, the ability to store what I need so efficiently and the ability to SEE both inside and throughout the room courtesy of the pivoting LED light system with three different brightness levels. Oh - once you get this, make sure to reach into the interior pockets - they include the two AAA batteries!You can't go wrong with this purchase.
