Great looking addition
If i could I would give this product a 3.75 stars, the reason being the applicator. The tape works extremely well, I have had it installed on my 2013 Ninja 650 and have ridden in excess of 500 miles since it was applied with no issues. The tape looks great and really reflects lights when it is dark out, to the point where someone said it looked like my bike was straight out of tron. Ultimately the tape gets a 5, and there is more than enough in the package to do both sides of 2 wheels with enough for 1/2 of one side of an extra wheel. Now the downfall of this product the applicator. I have a rear wheel jack and with the jack the applicator worked perfectly when going at a smooth and constant pace and pressure. The problem arose with the front wheel which I do not have a jack for. During application I had to roll the bike to access the entire wheel causing differences in pressure and pace resulting in a slightly uneven application. From more than 5 feet away the tape looks perfectly circular but closer inspection shows that there are some slightly straight sections. Ultimately it is a great product and you should just buy it.

Tedious Tape
I am kind of on the fence about this tape. It definitely looks good on, but as an overall appearance. Naturally from a distance the imperfections are not as noticeable nor the realization it's just red tape slapped on your wheel. Honestly this was a big pain in the a-- to put on. Application was tedious. We did this as a two person team with one applying and the other turning the wheel. I couldn't imagine this being easy to do by yourself. Even with the small plastic applicator it comes with (a dispenser that you align with the wheel edge) the tape was difficult to keep straight and it did not fully stick on first try so we had to press down and smooth over the applied tape every inch or so (and yes, the wheel was clean). There was just enough to cover two wheels (inside and out) so there is very little room for error. Despite the issues the overall integrity of the tape seems to be holding up well after about a month. No obvious rips or peeling yet.

Just the right amount for 19” wheels
Prep makes all the difference when applying the tape. I first used baby wipes to clean the rim surface then went over it again with some rubbing alcohol. There seemed to be a lot of frustration with the applicator, so I opted not to use it at all. It wasn’t too difficult to do it by hand. Of course it’s not perfect, but it’s acceptable for the cost.I ended up having about 8” left over after doing both sides of my 19” moto wheels. I ordered another roll to do some add some more red strips on other parts of the bike.

Great product but needs skill and patience to apply
When applied correctly this product is great! It does, however, require time and patience. Wheel edges must be free of anything oily/greasy and you must apply pressure to make the tape stick as you go around the wheel. I did rear on a stand and front without; if you're doing it yourself stands will make it much easier...but it's not impossible without. Difficult to see how the manufacturer could make an applicator which is ideal for all bikes; what they supplied worked fine for me with some patience. Do some trial runs to work out how you're going to move around the wheel. Make sure you uncoil some of the tape or you'll get into knots as you move along. A tip: put a zip tie or similar lightly around the coiled tape so it doesn't uncoil any more than you want it to. Overall you need to control every aspect of putting this tape on very carefully. I wasted about 4in of tape and after both wheels were done there's 16in of tape left.

i had a good 2+feet left over which was great since i made ...
2014cbr 500r. 17" wheels. i had a good 2+feet left over which was great since i made quite a few mistakes. You could see the quality changed on each wheel as my experience grew. I read reviews that said there wasnt any extra tape to make mistakes. I think we will all make a few mistakes without any experience so id recommend getting a second roll even though you wont likely need it.. I say this because after reading all the reviews saying there was no room for error, applying the tape felt like i was defusing a bomb which i think made me make more mistakes. With a second roll id guess mental security and if you dont need it.. You can send it back..Once i was going id have to say very easy to apply in which i did alone. I had my bike on stands though.

Great product!
Installing wheel detailing tape is not for the faint of heart. It requires time and patience so I recommend getting a good nights sleep and performing the install first thing in the morning when you are fresh. Per the instructions, place the tape into the included applicator and slowly spin the wheel while applying the tape. While applying use your finger to smooth out any air pockets or places it did not adhere to the wheel. Once applied all the way around the wheel cut the end of the tape, align it up with the tape already applied and smooth it on the wheel with your finger. Now spin the wheel and look for any uneven spots. Please be aware you have a limited amount of wheel detailing tape so if you pull the tape off in frustration or pull it off then reapply it more than once you will most likely have to purchase another kit. Don't get frustrated if it is not perfect! Will anyone notice when the bike is cruising at 50 miles and hour?

Nice
I'm happy with the result but the applicator is not very handy.I wish i could adjust how far from the rim i wanted to apply this, my bike already had a red line on the rim but it faded a bit so i decided to spruce it up. In same locations i didnt cover the old line properly, you can only see that from close up.A wider tape would have worked as well i guess.Pics are without and with flash to show the effect.
