Great product. only problem AMAZON PRIME driver was going to deliver package to wrong address, luckily I was outside and called to him to correct his mistake. I only can guess drives can not read.

We were shocked when it arrived. Ordering online can be a hit or miss and all tools are made differently with everyone having personal preferences. It’s very well made and the quality for the price was a very pleasant surprise! My husband has spent hundreds on certain brands of working tools and he is finding this is a go to. Stays sharp only needing a lite touch up on occasion and aids in producing a great pieces.

This gouge seems to hold an edge longer than 2 other brands I have in the same price range. I've never used really expensive gouges that cost 3 times as much or more, so I cannot compare with those.

Don’t ask me to try to pronounce the company name but they made a very high quality and well balanced bowl gouge. I’m new to turning However I am no novice when it comes to maintaining an edge on my tools. Out of the package the was clean and crisp. I did give it a little polish on 4000 grit and then 8000 grit stones and strop. This gouge reduced a piece of red oak in minutes leaving a remarkable smooth finish requiring minimal sanding. Well worth the investment.

I have not used the gouge yet, but the ad said I was getting 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" bowl gouge what I got was 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" bowl gouge. As you can see from the photo when I unpacked the outside box the "Wooden Storage Case" was very cheap and pretty much destroyed. The 'gouges are not very sharp and not the grind I want but I was not expecting perfection for the price I paid. What I really wanted was the 1/2" gouge and the other two were a bonus, I've decided to keep what I got and if I find I need a 1/4" bowl gouge I get it later. After shaping and using I'll update this review.

I do not do a lot of bowls,but when I do I had to use a variety of chisels to cut and shape. I had never used a bowl gouge before and used a U Tube video to figure how to shape this brute. Once shaped I decided to make a couple of bowls from spruce 2x6 just to practice . I had never used a gouge before and expected the worst. I was extremely surprised at how quick this thing shaped out and finished a bowl,no other chisels required . Very little sanding required. It is the largest tool in my collection and it takes some getting used to but works absolutely excellent. Now I wished I had purchased the set of three!!!!!

Like others have said, the grind on this is pretty uneven and needs work before being put to use. The handle is nice, length is ok, could be a bit longer and the steel holds a decent but not great edge.

The tip of my chisel was chipped and I had to regrind. Not satisfied
