Excellent thermal imaging tool for PCB analysis
Thrilled with the performance of this camera using the free flir app (also excellent) on android. I do electronic ckt and PCB design and primarily use it with my phone (pixel 3A) to image PCBs for thermal analysis. It views in real time and optionally detects the hottest (and/or coldest) spot, and can also be configured with a few other (reposition-able) spots to report the specific temperatures at those points. Displayed temp values update very rapidly (seems around 10 times per sec or so). Saved images are saved as readily viewable .JPG files, but those files also invisibly include all the thermal data for every pixel in the image. These images can be further analyzed on a PC using the "FLIR tools" app (downloaded free from FLIR). In that app the image color scheme and range can be scaled/changed. You can display spot temps, average or peak or minimum temps within user defined regions. I generally use the camera at a distance of around 6 inches and get fine results. The only downside I've noticed when using it that close is that the optical image overlay on the thermal image does not align very well, so I just disable that feature. Quick start usage guide (for android): Charge the camera. (must be charged using it's USB-C charging jack - does not get charged at all from phone) Download/install the Flir phone app on google play. Optionally download Flir Tools (PC app) from FLIR website. Camera works without this, but allows later analysis of saved images. You might need to provide your proof of purchase details to download. Before plugging the (charged) camera into the phone, first turn it on by pressing the button on bottom of camera. LED in button will light. Not sure if this is just with mine, but the button doesn't seem to depress when pushed, but just the pressure of my finger on the button turns it on. Once on, now plug it onto the phone. Note that the knob behind the USB plug can be turned to adjust the length of the plug to fit a recessed USB port due to a phone case. The (previously downloaded) app should automatically start within a few secs of when the camera is plugged in. If it doesn't automatically start, open the app directly. The camera views the scene in real time, and snapshot images are saved to your phone just as normal photos. They can be transferred (as JPG) to your PC via the normal methods (email, USB, etc) where they can be further viewed, analyzed, printed using the Flir Tools app.

High Quality and Perfect for Industrial Use
This one is for ANROID, iPhone product equivalent is here: https://amzn.to/4c1pdSA The FLIR ONE Pro has exceeded my expectations in every way. This thermal imaging camera is of high quality and works great, especially in an industrial setting. I use it in my machining shop, and it has become an indispensable tool for detecting temperature variations and diagnosing issues with equipment. One of the standout features is its high resolution. The thermal images are clear and detailed, making it easy to pinpoint hot spots and other anomalies. This level of detail is crucial for industrial applications where precision matters. Setting it up was simple and straightforward. It connects easily to my Android smartphone via USB-C, and the accompanying app is user-friendly, offering a range of features and settings to customize the thermal imaging experience. Even if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, you’ll find it intuitive to use. Despite its advanced capabilities, the FLIR ONE Pro is compact and portable. I can easily carry it around the shop or take it on-site for inspections. The durability of the device is also impressive, which is essential in a demanding industrial environment. Overall, this thermal imaging camera is worth every penny. It’s a high-quality, reliable tool that delivers accurate results, making it ideal for industrial use. Whether you're in a machining shop or any other field requiring precise thermal imaging, the FLIR ONE Pro is highly recommended.

Great device. Android 9/10 users download app from FLIR not Google Play (supports 11 and above)
I bought this FLIR a year ago, worked great. Software stopped working at end of 2022, but it is only the software on the Google Play, since it requires Android 11 or above now. If you have Android 10 or 9 (go to their support and search on "FLIR ONE® Device Compatibility"), then you need to use a different version downloaded from their support site, found by searching for "FLIR One Legacy App v3.6.1 for Pro, LT & Gen3 Cameras" or you can open up a ticket and they will give you the link. Battery life is a little short (maybe about 20-30 mins of solid use), but the device is quite light and pocket-sized as a tradeoff. It has come in handy for me scoping out water leaks, cold air leaks and of course, having a lot of fun with the kids. I have them hide, then I track their heat footprints! It makes hide and seek easier :)

Works well for the most part
Works well, I was slightly concerned after reading other reviews, but decided to give it a try, and I've had good luck so far. Image quality isn't perfectly sharp, but is very acceptable and it's easy to tell what your looking at. Videos do tend to be jerky. Battery life was a concern I had, and the battery percent indicator is slightly wacky, it drops as soon as the camera is unplugged from the charge cord and sometimes goes up if you disconnect and reconnect it without being charged. For a test I deliberately left the camera on and my phone lit up, and it was nearly dead but still running over an hour later and had only used about 8 percent of my phone's battery. For continuous use over about 45 minutes at a time, it needs to be fully charged and a battery pack would be a good idea. The Android version of the app had caused me no trouble. The USB-C connector is just barely long enough to connect to my Moto Z2 in an OtterBox commuter, it actually doesn't quite plug in all the way, but gets close enough to work. Overall it is a great entry product into thermal imaging, maybe even good enough for semi-professional use.

Great item, already worked out where I have drafts coming in on the front door and the kitchen window, it's a big outlay but it will pay for its pretty soon by letting me know where I need to seal areas prone to drafts and save on my heating bill. I have 1 recommendation, look at the picture of my camera in its case, you will see I have cut foam away where the usbc is, this stops you having to retract the USB every time you put it back in the case, also you will see i have removed foam where the switch is, this stops the button being pressed when your putting it back in the case and the battery going flat, I've not charged mine for about 3 months and I use it about 2 minutes a day 5 days a week.

not compatible with most android phones. had to download apk of a older app and it only worked for 20 seconds.. and it took pictures instead of video. For a company this well known this is a really bad product below all expectations. A one star is too much to give.

Me gustaría tenerlo claro Gracias.

Consigliata a chi pretende misure affidabili e risultati verificabili.
