One long running product
These are great splitters. I use it to switch my security monitor to my big screen tv and it works tirelessly day in and day out. This is my second purchase of this device. The first one lasted over 8 years and had I not dropped it would likely still be functional. Very EZ to install using HDMI cables. Just be sure the switch is in the right position and let her rip.

Seeing double in a good way
It works fantastically. Simply to install and does exactly what I wanted. I would buy again.

My review
Had for awhile now. Works flawlessly. I don't remeber if this was listed as just a splitter, but at leaster the one I recieved will send the picture to 2 screens at the same time. I might have just got lucky.

Hey, these incidental gripes aside, it works!
I specifically sought one of these out to solve the failure of the HDMI port on my aging 50”plasma. And, as I exclusively use this as a large monitor for streaming content through my computer, without a solution to bring it this video signal would render it useless, a drop in picture quality was both expected, and acceptable. So, i was presently surprised to find this converter delivered a picture with no noticeable drop in quality from what the HDMI provided before it failed. So, why the four stars? Well for the money, I don’t have a lot of confidence in it lasting very long. and would plan on including it with a portable kit if any kind. The quality of the components used just isn’t there, to withstand multiple connect and disconnect activity. That no HDMI is cord included, is understandable, but having the ones they do provide be different lengths, when the expected run is the same distance for both, begs explanation. Even though the Power Supply to the unit has a bulky adapter. it still uses special connector, you have to keep track of, instead of doing us the favor of powering it via a universal USB. And failing this, at least make the one they do provide long enough to make it from the wall to your TV set. None of my gripes are deal breakers, though, and I’m happy, so far, as this works fine for my intended purpose. Hope this helps! Cheers!

Works Very Well.
I obtained this OREI HDMI Splitter specifically to be able to see six CCTV camera views on a monitor and the same views on a TV in another room. I connected an HDMI cable from the CCTV DVR to the INPUT of the OREI Splitter. I connected another HDMI cable to the first OUTPUT of the splitter and the HDMI INPUT on a monitor. I plugged a wireless HDMI transmitter into the second OUTPUT of the splitter. A wireless HDMI receiver was plugged into an HDMI port on a TY in another room on the other side of the house. The OREI Splitter worked flawlessly. The views on both the monitor and TV were identical and remained stable and clear. This device works as described and it appears to be well-made. The included is helpful, with illustrations and clearly written information. One improvement I would like to see is a little more space between the two HDMI OUTPUT ports. The wireless HDMI transmitter and the HDMI cable I have plugged into the splitter barely have room to fit next to each other. At approximately $15, this splitter is a bargain.

Works Great!
This does exactly what you want it to do, split the output to two separate devices. For background, I have an old projector and very old stereo equipment. I bought a rolling rack and put all of the equipment on it. We live a couple doors down from the community pool. Several evenings-a-year, I wheel the rack over to the pool, hoist up a big screen (just a large white tarp) and play a movie or live sporting event.Because of the old equipment, the amplifier does not have HDMI nor USB, nor Bluetooth. This product allows me to split the signal from the DVD player, or the Firestick, to the projector and to the amplifier. To anyone who is actually paying attention, yes, I have to use an HDMI to RCA connection to have the sound played out through the old equipment. As you can see, this is not a high fidelity set-up. I cannot speak to the quality downgrade, if any, by using this inside the house with nicer equipment.

Great product!
I am an old video guy who started in video production in my teens. We have a long-running client with a limited budget, so we want to provide a quality service without eroding our margins. I use a basic ATEM switcher with one HDMI output. This means I can either use it as a multi view or with an ATOMOS recorder, pro-res codec for ease and quality of editing. I use it as an output to my recorder, so I couldn’t preview a second input when we finally started using a 2nd camera. I use several of these splitters and the same brand of simple video switcher to preview shots before I take them. It’s a cheap way to upgrade your switching situation without paying $hundreds more for a video switcher with 2 hdmi outputs, one with a multi view. I also use them to support a zoom interface for live speakers who attend meetings only by zoom. That is 3 monitors. Finally we use them to support in person speakers with PowerPoint presentations which now have to be on a projector and in the zoom call. We have 2x and 4x splitters and they allow us to expand services to this client without breaking the budget. It’s lots of hdmi cables but it allows us to keep profiting instead of losing money.
