I buy too many torches! Lensers, Maglite and various Chinese copies (the latter often fail after a few months). I have always liked Lenser but have had several where the insides corode. Maglites have never failed. These two torches are cheap but seem to be really, really good. They are very small and yet bright and the light on the side is brilliant. On low setting it ran for me for just under 5 hours. The charging USB is in the base which I have never seen before and is neat. The torch focusses well and the quality seems good. I am strongly tempted to buy again but have too many torches already and need an excuse!

They work brilliantly. Powerful small magnetic base. And loop. Sturdy I use them all the time. I have one in my lorry for doing daily checks and one in my garage for dark corners, engine bays and so on, and with the strong magnetic base I just stick it to something, use the fluorescent side light and it’s an instant work light. The battery lasts ages. Charges from a usb. (Red light means charging green light means done). It just works well. When I’m doing jobs around the house or in the garage it’s one of the first tools I pick up. Cos it’s small and fits in my pocket and can save time looking or working in dark places or unscrew the magnetic base place on a screw driver and you got a magnetic screwdriver. It’s very helpful

Together with another pair of USB torches I purchased, I noticed these were slightly different offering the middle section when one needs to read a page or such and the eyes can focus more easily. The zoom function by just pulling the top is easy and works great and at the bottom is a magnet.Now .... whilst that is a great feature to stick it (carefully) on the paintwork of the car to light a certain area or to function as an emergency light to traffic, it has a big disadvantage: please make sure to keep this away from any phone (it will have a negative impact on its battery life) and any card containing information as the magnet can wipe its information by accident !Other than that, to charge it, one has to unscrew the button with the magnet (make sure not to lose this !) and then the USB "male" appears. The torch will be put upright in the USB port to charge. This has a few consequences and they are not so positive: firstly the torch with its weight can damage the USB port when the USB port is pointed in a horizontal direction and not vertical and secondly an USB cable would give a bit more flexibility.Overall though a great purchase and ofcourse with any interesting future there is a drawback but great value for money

Superb pair of torches. Can go very bright, and very versatile with magnetic mount and cob light. Perfect for engineers working on equipment and need to stick a torch in a tight space to see what they are doing. The icing on the cake is the integrated USB charging plug. No faffing around looking for cables, and a clear red or green light to show you the charge status.

Literally it is a light in the dark and a bright light at that. My daughter has a job at an animal rescue center and has to bring in animals from the yards and the fields after dark. This is an excellent torch for the job and can also light up indoor areas well with the strip light mounted on the side of the torch. Came as a pack of two rechargeable torches so there is always a spare recharged. Which is handy as when the battery is low the torch just stops, which is typical of led torches.

Great small torch, ideal for in your pocket while working on a vehicle, magnetic is strong but doesn't stay attached to the torch for very long, my magnet came off quite quickly, glued back on. The biggest problem now after owning it for a while it the battery life. They get noticeably dimmer quite quickly now

I was mildly surprised to find it was a twin pack. I.e two torches. I really like the safety catch mechanism to stop accidental switching on torch when packed inside a travel bag. It was perfect for camping as the battery lasted a weekend trip. My favourite mode is the side LED torch mode. It was bright like you expect from LED lights nowadays. The outer shell is a heavy metal metal. Very robust.
