After I took the lid off and removed the seal, the canister was only about 2/3 full BUT I did weigh it without the lid or seal, and I got 15.7-15.8ozs. They are NOT ripping people off just because it wasn't full to the top. People don't understand that it goes by weight, even after they read the spec weight... GOOD LUBE, YOU GET WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR!
