Pros: very compact, the copper wire bends easily to make installation on rigid surfaces comparatively easy. The light is pleasant, bright, and long lasting. The available modes selections were easy to use, and varied enough that we found one that made us both happy.Cons: the copper wire does tangle with itself quite easily. It comes on a plastic spool wound such that you have to start with the unpowered end. I recommend against unspooling it so you can start with the powered end; that creates a tangled mess that one must carefully work through as the wires are a little fragile. So, plan your run ahead and start at the end of your run.

Overall, I'm highly impressed with this product. It functions flawlessly, living up to its advertised capabilities. I've used it to illuminate both a tree and a fence, and the eight lighting modes provide a delightful ambiance. The product also offers exceptional value for money.The only reason I'm giving it four stars is due to the thinness of the copper string. Unwinding it proves to be a patience-testing endeavor, as a slight misstep can result in a tangled mess. Re-wrapping it is equally challenging, and I've opted to leave it permanently affixed to the tree.Despite this minor drawback, I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone seeking an attractive and affordable lighting solution. Its versatility and ease of use make it a worthwhile purchase.

These lights are great. The wire is a little tedious to work with but it's been 3 years and they still light up bright every night as long as sun out during the day. I'm going to reorder some more.

Don’t buy these. I don’t typically leave reviews, but these needed it. I know you get what you pay for but these, feel like they’re purposely tied to be difficult for the customer. I purchased them for a little surprise decorating to cheer up my fiancé who could use a little Christmas cheer (couldn’t we all this year!), but I wasn’t expecting such an awful experience. I’ve worked with a a lot of string lights before traditional and fairy style (like these), and I’ve NEVER had this style issue before. They are literally knotted together at different intervals throughout the wrapping, so you’re required to go through the laborious task of unwinding, un- knotting, and untwisting then before you put them up. At first I thought it was because I had accidentally made the cardinal sin of trying to unwind them first, so I thought I might have inadvertently made a knot. So I tried attaching and unrolling the on my deck with the second set, only to find the knots and realize that you can’t do that, because you must remove the knots at each interval, to fully unwind the lights and be able twist them around your desired space. Which is dangerous considering wire based fairy lights are temperamental to begin with and can easily break when I improperly bent. Which is what happened here. They worked just fine before I unwinded them, and at the half way check during. But as soon as I was done, they no longer worked (which was essentially unavoidable considering how they were tied/knotted). So now I’m devastated I can’t do this surprise. I would like a refund (and the last hour+ of my time back), but I highly doubt anyone will take this seriously. So I thought my review might help people from making the same mistake. I also took a pic so you can see the style of unavoidable knots throughout.

The wire was really thin and I found it hard to work with in fear that if it bend to much and break. You had to hold the solar panel while trying to unravel the lites . I did not find it to be as flexible as advertised. Once on The product worked fine, however I hadn't noticed how many lites were on a stran therefore I did not get the effect I wanted . I was looking for a more like a lighting bug effect in my garden where I made a fairy house.
