This does seem a bit pricy if you’ve spent any time looking around at beard care kits.But once you read that it’s a father and son who started the company, makes it a bit easier to take the price.My husband loves it. The scents of the products aren’t too overpowering and he loves the grit in the soap because it allows the skin under his beard to actually get clean and exfoliated.The case is very well manufactured. The soap is great as well as the tin with the balm.He absolutely loves the brush, it allows his to brush in the oil and balm so it gets where it needs to be and not just sitting on the surface of his beard hair.As a spouse, I also don’t mind kissing him or touching faces after application. There’s barely any transference.I would highly recommend this as a gift.

I bought this for my father for Father's Day. I added to a couple of other things and made kind of a 'dude spa kit'. This beard grooming kit is really nice. It smells really good. The elements to it are nice quality and the zip container it comes in is more solid than you'd think. Their Sasquach logo is too funny. My father was really excited. He said he'd managed to go 61 years without 'product' but had no idea stuff like this existed. He complained last year his beard was itchy so I've been slowly been introducing him beard care, first beard conditioner now this kit. He would never pamper himself this way so I'm really excited kits like this exist.

The soap and beard oil smell amazing. Has an orange scent, pleasant and not to strong. The beard balm is non scented which I was disappointed. I wished it smelled like the other two products, minus one star. Other then that cool little pack.

Beautifully packaged kit for my medium length facial hair. Have tried a number of other products and this oil and balm stack up really well and are a very good value. Nice brush to dedicate to the beard, good specialized combs of substantial wood. Just tried the soap--nice orange citrus fragrance, not overpowering, great lather, face and beard felt clean. Nicely done guys.

I almost never buy personal grooming items for someone else (too many years of being on the receiving end of rejected Bath and Body Works soaps, y'know?), but I took a shot with this kit to gift to my SO. The beard soap is really nice (pleasant but not overwhelming smell), and the bristle brush is exactly what he needed for his type of beard. I know some people REALLY geek out over beard care, so I don't know how this product fares up against more high-dollar stuff, but for my SO, this has been a great beard-care starter kit.

Products that do what they do for the price they charge do not automatically get 5 Star reviews. Too many people give five star reviews just because the product works as it is supposed to. To me that just gets a 3-star rating. A product has to exceed expectations or fall below to get anything different. This is a good product for a good price. The consumables perform as they should and the tools do as well. Where this product falls short is in the case. The case is solid quality the design is very poor for everyday use. The comb is extremely difficult to take in and out of the pocket it comes in. Eventually something will have to give, either a tine will break or the elastic will fray. Also, the elastic bands that are dosed to find the brush and soap just don't. The soap should have its own container too. In the end this is a good solid 3 star product(like the vast majority of products sold).
