Easiest Button Cover Set ever made.
There are zero sewing stores near me, so Amazon to the rescue. I gad a pink gingerbread theme in my craftroom for Christmas. The gingerbread pillow purchased had red buttons, so I cut those off & ordered this product to customize to my theme. These button cover are very easy to use & comes with everything needed to assemble. The metal has a nice thickness & did not bend or collapse on itself. The size was just what I needed even though I was guessing. The second best part, the great value for money spent. With just a few dollars, I easily transformed my pillow. Ingore my oversized bow. Lol.I will certainly purchase these again for other projects.

Made beautiful buttons for the jacket of my matron of honor gown
I could have covered the buttons myself, the instructions seemed clear & simple.Since I needed to have a seamstress make the button holes, I had her cover the buttons.About 4-5” of fabric was cut from the hem of my dress so there was plenty to use to make covered buttons. If I was replacing existing buttons, I definitely would cover buttons myself using this kit.I love the look of covered matching buttons & this kit does the job!

Difficult to use, but satisfactory end results
I wanted to recover a huge storage ottoman I love and had no idea how I would do the buttons for the tufted top until I came across this kit. This was the first time I ever covered buttons, so maybe it was because I really didn't know what I was doing -despite the pretty simple instructions- that I felt like it was pretty difficult to do.This kit provides the size of the circle of fabric you should use when covering the metal button provided, and let me tell you, there is no room for error. If I didn't place the fabric exactly equally over the clear rubber holder, and if I didn't carefully insert the button into the rubber holder, making sure to have equal amounts of fabric around the sides of the button, when I folded the extra in and tried to put on the back, I'd end up short at some spot and I'd have to pull the button out and start again until there was equal fabric all around. Also, putting the back on- that was SUCH a difficult chore. That blue piece included that allegedly is intended for pressing the back on was absolutely worthless. I ended up having to press into the back with a screwdriver all around the edges before the back lodged tightly into the button front and stayed in place. The backs of the buttons were all dented up, but once it was finally done, the front actually looked pretty nice.Overall, I had a little bit of a hard time assembling, despite the clear instructions, but in the end was glad I purchased these, since my recovered ottoman now looks fantastic - And the buttons definitely add a level of impressiveness; my family were wowed that I actually did the whole thing myself; you wouldn't know it was recovered by me - a very much unprofessional!I'd recommend this to others - just as long as you don't give up after a little frustration!

Pefect for my needs
Had to replace a button on a sofa. This worked even with thick material. Took a little effort to get it together, but the results were perfect.

Quality is a disaster
These used to be a pretty reliable product. Unfortunately the metal is so thin it is impossible to assemble them and have them hold together. The metal is so thin that even the slightest pressure results in dents and dings and the backs are not strong enough to lock in and instead bend into unusable messes. Dritz has cheaped out to the point that these are just garbage.
