Recently, for some reason I decided to start making my own limeade. Using a lemon-lime soft drink and some lime juice I needed to add cherry juice but it is difficult to find. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a try. I am extremely picky about certain things but I must say this syrup is great. It is not a thick syrup and the bottle recommends two tablespoons but I found, for me, one tablespoon was plenty. It's a pretty big bottle so should last me a while and since it needs to be refrigerated that's not a problem. I have also used it in making a cherry coke and it was delicious. There are quite a few recommendations on the bottle including coffee. Hmmmm, not for me. Seriously though I am glad I gave this a try and plan on using it regularly.

I added to my diet Pepsi which I thought I had ordered cherry Diet Pepsi but got plain. It didn't seem sweet enough at first but after it sat awhile it tasted better. I have only tried the one time because I don't drink soft drinks often. I*t was not bad tasting I just felt I needed to add a package of softener. The price was good so I feel I can work with it.

I originally ordered this as I wanted to make “Cherry Dr.Pepper Pulled Pork”.Cherry Dr Pepper has been difficult to locate in my area ever since the stupid pandemic!! It’s been hit and miss. Since I had my heart set on Cherry Dr. Pepper, this was the next best thing. Better yet, I’m able to add as much Cherry Syrup as I want!!! I also figured since it has “Hires’” name on it, you can’t go wrong!! I recommend this to anyone wanting a TRUE Cherry soda taste that’s better than grenadine or any other flavored syrups.

I bought this wanting to make some French and Italian sodas. I was looking for something without caramel coloring (known carcinogen) and with as many natural ingredients as possible so I decided to give this a try. I add it to Perrier or Pellegrino and it is pretty good.The only down side is that you do have to use a lot in order to taste the cherry flavor. Once you add enough to taste the flavor, it is almost too much sugar.I'll finish using it up and probably find something else.A-OK rating, but I won't be purchasing again.

Very good. Tastes wonderful in any cola drink I've added it to. I purchased this to keep at my desk at work because our soda vending machine does not have cherry flavored colas in it, so I wish I had known that after it's opened that it needs to be refrigerated. I'm not able to keep anything in the refrigerator at work because everything in the refrigerators gets thrown away every night.

I can't tell you about the cherry syrup itself. It had a tiny pinhole in the bottom.. Stained my counter top. I threw the bottle out. I bought cherry syrup from some other (non-Amazon) company, it came in a thick glass bottle. And it was cheaper than this! I am going back to that company. This was a waste of $12!! Not happy at all! 0 stars if I could rate that.

I go back quite a ways with Cherry Cokes, around the 1950s, when they were only available home-made as it were at your local soda fountain, known in Brooklyn as "candy store". Aficiandos know the stumbling block is you are adding a sweet syrup to a sweet soda so you are greatly increasing the proportion of sugar to liquid volume. I find that is not a problem here, but you'll have to experiement to use the least amount of this cherry syrup (to avoid over-sweetening) that will still give you that delicious Cherry Coke flavor. Not difficult at all!
