Great deal!!
For anyone else that’s confused by the size options, 75=7.5, 85=8.5 etc. I was unsure but took a chance in hopes that that was what it meant and sure enough the size 75 i ordered was a women’s 7.5 Very happy with the look and quality of these boots, we’ve had several pairs of the same boots over the years and have never had an issue. They always hold up well enough to pass on to a younger rider after my daughter grows out of them, and she isn’t gentle on her stuff. She had a pair of Saxon boots that the sole fell off of within a few months so we switched back to these and never looked back. Bonus: The size i ordered was only $15 which is an incredible deal for these!!

They seem to be the perfect inexpensive alternative to the other horseback riding boots out ...
One month in with use twice weekly riding and they are holding up well. Fit to size (size 3 ) although a little loose around top of boot even when laced tightly. The solution has been thicker socks (super skinny kiddo!) They are made well-enough for price (I paid $35). At this moment, I will purchase again when she grows out of this size. They seem to be the perfect inexpensive alternative to the other horseback riding boots out there.

Excellent boots
So far I've been very impressed with TuffRider boots in general. My daughter has had several pairs. She outgrows them and then donates them to her barn for other young riders to use. She's never had a pair wear out or become unable to be donated. I bought my first pair and have abused them in the short 3 weeks that I've had them and they held up better than my Shires tall boots. I'm impressed and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Runs a little narrow but otherwise nice looking boots
My daughter rides 1-2 times per week and has been for the last couple of years. This is her third set of boots because she has outgrown her other pairs. Two of the boots we have purchased have been TuffRider Children's Starter Lace Up boots and one was TuffRider Children's Starter zipper boots. We have stuck with the Tuffrider brand because they are a very good value for the money, especially since I have to keep getting new ones as she goes up in size. The boots have held up well and still look nice so it is a matter of outgrowing them rather than outwearing them. In fact, since they are unisex, we have passed down the ones that she has outgrown to her younger brother who is also taking riding lessons. While they are definitely not as nice as some boots that are on the market, they are a great bang for your buck as some of those other shoes can be over $100. We have even warn these to horse shows so certainly good enough for our needs. Our only complaint is that they run narrow in the toe. Our daughter does not have wide feet but we have had to size up due to the narrowness. This is why we opted for the lace up version rather than the zipper - we are able to cinch it tighter around the ankle so that the bigger size does not mean that it is falling off of her.Overall, no complaints but be mindful of the fact that they run narrow when considering size.

Covered in mold
We ordered two pairs and both were moldy. One pair just had moldy shoelaces, but the other pair was absolutely covered in mold, and came in a beat-up box that was also moldy. All of that light, powdery residue in the pictures is mold, and as you can see, the entire pair of boots and parts of the inside of the box are just coated in the stuff. We don't lightly leave bad reviews but this is honestly a health hazard, especially for anyone with mold allergies, compromised immune systems, etc. We briefly considered just cleaning and keeping them, but just getting close enough to inspect them caused a coughing fit, and keeping them in our room for too long caused breathing problems. We bagged them up before returning them, for the sake of the postal workers, and put a note inside the box for whoever opens the bags. This really raises red flags about the conditions these boots were stored in, and the working conditions of whoever had to handle them.

Great boots for a great price!
I didn't know what size boot to buy for my 7 year old daughter. She is in a size 1 and going into a size 2 so I read what other reviewers had posted and opted for a size up (size 3). I am glad I did. They fit with plenty of room, but as they lace up you can tighten them. They are well padded inside and the sole is rubberised with a groove to help hold the foot in the stirrup. They look great and we are thrilled with them! My daughter has normal width feet so there were absolutely no issues with these being too narrow.

COMFORTABLE, BUT NOT STURDY!
When I received these they were so comfortable. One day while at work, my foot hit the bottom of a door. The toe of the boot was dented and remained that way until I was able to remove the boot, put my hand on the inside of the boot a push the dent out, which is still visible. About a month later, the inside back of the boot, inside the lining, began to move around as if the support had not been attached properly. I continued to wear the boots a while longer after that, but it became annoying to have to constantly adjust the inside just to get a comfortable fit. I've decided to take my 10+ years old boots and have them re-soled. I know that I can rely on my old, comfortable sturdy boots!

Great quality and fit
Love them! They look and feel great! Inside has great orthopedic support so I was really happy went a half size larger than what my daughter normally wears. They fit perfectly I would recommend for all English style riders.

Great for pronated feet!
These are fantastic boots!!! Our daughter has pronated feet and the doctor recommended these. Medical shoes for pronated feet are extremely expensive and require a prescription, these are a third the cost and no prescription. We have been using these for the last five years and her feet have greatly improved. These are durable and lasted through 4 children! They remain firm and provide excellent ankle support. I don't know how they stand up for riding, as they were used for everyday shoes. Funny enough, our doctor told us, these are the kinds of shoes all children should be wearing anyway. Great product!!!
