Updated 5/12/2012: As an Artist/Photographer and the author of  Erotic Art Nudes Vol. 1: Photo Erotica Featuring Sexy Nude Model "Chiva"  I'm always looking at otherartist work. The images in this book are exceptional. I really don't understand the negative reviews. But after reading them I went to a book story and looked though the book. What can I say I loved it. I came home and ordered it from Amazon. When my copy arrived I looked at it with a girlfriend. She loved the images too.The images are beautiful! There are color, B&W, pure photography, mixed media as well some digital manipulation and I liked it all. I'm not a photography "purist" I'm a photographer and photographic/digital artist myself and I prefer digital enhancement and mixed media (as is evident in my own work) but still appreciate pure photography.The book is tasteful and something you can be proud to have on your coffee table, it's art not porn. If you want porn look elsewhere. Most of the images are what is termed implied or demure nudes which I also enjoy. It's great book and I recommend it to any erotic art lover!

I believe the human body is art itself and I appreciate photography that can demonstrate that without being p-graphic. This book is tasteful in its approach as well as explores the overwhelming diversity and majesty that is the female form. The book is heavy and is great for any coffee/ side table. It's most certainly a conversation starter for sure. The red and gold also make it a great pop piece for most decors. The book is wonderful for many things, not just for what's inside.

I read all of the reviews after I bought the book and was kind of worried, as so many people gave it a lame review. I thought the few pics I saw were very well shot, sexy and all had ridiculously nice hinnies ;-) Which is right up my husband's ally. He doesn't like smut, he likes erotic art, sexy. But I was pleasantly surprised and my husband really loved the book. For any man who is a bum man, this is the book for you. And I think its suitable for the coffee table, for adults though. Very happy with the purchase!

The book would be okay, I mean the women are lovely, BUT the publisher or editor used two page photos and the split from page to page would obstruct the view of the subject. In addition to the bad editing, there is text on the pages but it is so tiny you can't read it. I would assume this was intended to be read. The split in the picture is definitely the most irritating part and it occurs in more than a few of the photos. I was extremely disappointed, it did not even begin to live up to the hype. I would not waste $45 on this, actually I wouldn't waste $10 on it. don't be a sucker like I was  Culo by Mazzucco

I'm guessing there is a reason why this book has no "look inside" feature, is because is crap.... dont get me wrong there are some beautiful photos, but most of them are covered by "art" i guess, digitally added paint sploshes, drips and marker drawings, and litthe images collage style its awful, some pictures are very good, but they are printed in 2 pages, and even if you open the book to the breaking point you dont get to see the complete picture... there are a lot of blank pages and is very slim, if you are looking for porn... this is not it, if you are looking for beautiful photography of nude women, this is not it either... is like looking inside somebodys nightmare with naked girls in the background... I have to admit there are few gorgeous photos of threes and deserts and a beach... that's it pros are print quality and 2 memorable pictures one of sarah mclachlan and one of mistery girl with a tremendous booty, get THE NEW EROTIC PHOTOGRAPHY 1 or 2 instead, great quality, text! and no artsy fartsy stuff over the girls

Bought this book inspired by the advertisement music video in Youtube. I've been interested in artistic and sensual nude photography already for a couple of years. In addition, being definitely an ass man (sporty ass, not "supermodel thin") this seemed to suite my interests more than well. This because of Culo meaning chica latina kind of ass with a wealth of beautiful round shape.Overall, Culo by Mazzucco delivers what it promises. Stylish photos of well capable models. There's already a few picks which I might print to hang on the wall if the photos would available in digital format with enough resolution, or sold as posters. The images are not pornograpic, or at least not hardcore, many of them being quite revealing, anyway. But that actually suit my personal taste very well. The best part of the collection are a couple of photos you really have to check carefully in order to figure out the actual composition, because of, e.g., reflections in the glass.Why then only four stars? The downside I'd like to mention include the rareness of those clever and innovative images mentioned above and selection of certains models. The latter being, of course, mostly question of personal taste. I would have dropped for example lady Gaga and Paris Hilton from the list, being so worn in the media, and actually not presenting my opinion of latin Culo kind of ass. About the first mentioned problem, the suggestive swayback posture is a bit overused, as you, of course, might expect. I would have like the photographer to be a hint more innovative using perspectives, because, let's face it, there infinite number of different angles you can make gorgeous Culo look so beautiful.The actual copy I got via transatlantic mail has one corner battered, but overall the materials for the covers and the pages feel of high quality.Finally, I would say that this book is a definite pick for anyway being a friend of daring nude photography and well-shaped female buttocks.

A fantastic, artistic portrayal of the female ass. I love Mazzucco's mixed media approach to photography. He drops in paint, language through writing and keeps it incredibly classy. You could hang each of these images on a wall.

Per amanti del genere questo libro può piacere molto, gli scatti fotografici sono molto ben fatti. Nel complesso un buon libro di si curo per amanti del genere di queste foto.

Mazzucco is a true artist using the female form as a jumping off point for some really strong images that do so much more than just "capture the moment". Throughout the book, you never lose the photographer's presence. He makes you see beauty through his eyes and it really is glorious! What a fantastic visual ode to the shapely derriere! It's about time!

Wurde als Geschenk gekauft aber ein kleinen Blick ins Buch zeigte doch sehr kunstvolle aber auch reizvolle Bilder und ich denke der beschenkte war auch sehr begeistert

This book by Mazzucco is full of wonderful artistic photographs, each of them are different and beautiful on itself. I'm glad a bought the book and is now showing off the coffee table. It arrived in perfect condition and on time after ordering it.
