Fender Deluxe says it all. Just holding the cable I noticed it was thicker than my old cable I was replacing. The black Tweed jacket is top quality and good looking. All parts and connections felt sturdy and well made. Plugging it in gave my amp and guitar a nice clear sound with no buzz or hum. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend. Worth the price. 8

Electric guitar & electric bass

I’ve been playing guitar and recording myself and various bands for fifteen years now. I was on the verge of splurging on some Mogami cables because I hadn’t gotten new cables for over three or so years. Then I really thought about it and decided that a lot of the more expensive premium cables are mostly marketing hype. Sure there’s something to be said for gold plated connectors and pure copper wires but these Fender cables are close enough to the highest end cables that any small differences between them are going to be negligible.So the cable itself is very sturdy and seems like it can handle quite a bit of abuse thanks to its cloth outer jacket and it’s very flexible too. I play single coil guitars almost exclusively and this cable doesn’t pick up outside noise like my old cheap cables do. That said they aren’t noiseless either but you have to take into account the whole system - from the guitar’s electronics to the patch cables on your pedal board to your amp, there are a lot of places in the chain where noise can be picked up and this cable isn’t going to contribute much to that noise. Tone is preserved well through this cable but the clarity you hear is quite subtle.In the end I would recommend this to anyone who needs a cable. Cables are very often overlooked and just as important to your sound as your amp and instrument. Cheap cables are going to be noticeably noisier and expensive cables aren’t worth the minor tonal upgrade unless you have cash to burn. This is a solid cable that’ll be more than adequate even for recording situations. Just remember to take the whole system into account: the shortest cable length you can get away with into your pedal board, high quality patch cables, and shielded guitar electronics will all play a much more significant role in creating a beautiful tone than just a single overly expensive instrument cable alone will.

Is it weird to call an instrument cable beautiful? Well, this one is absolutely stunning looking. That's not something I normally care about. In fact, I'm not someone who believes having super nice cables is important. I bought this one because it was on sale. But now I'm beginning to see why people care about having nice cables. It's much easier to wrap, feels better to the touch, and seems more sturdy. And that pop of brown and gold makes me smile every time I see it. I bought it on sale for $20 and might buy another while it's at that price. I wouldn't pay $40 for it, but that's only because I wouldn't pay $40 for any cable.

I probably could have gone with a cheaper cable from another company but I have a few Fender cables of various lengths and they have never failed me. I needed a short one (5') for sitting in front of my laptop and recording my guitar. Something I could whip out, play my part, and put it away. This cable is perfect for me. It's got a Velcro strap attached to it, too.

Well made and no latency or noise issues so far. Love the braided covering, it’s easy to roll up and look really great! I’ve bought all these for my pedal board setup and would get them again !

Sound quality is great, I’ve used them in different venues and have never had a problem. Durable. Just bought some more to replace old cables.Them being 10 feet long is perfect for if I need them to go from pedal to DI or straight into a board at a smaller venue.
