Identical to the original!! I am very pleasantly surprised! It even had the Samsung logo. Mine just needed a new tip and this was my best option. Well, now I have two and lots of replacement tips! I'm very pleased!In the pic, the original is the top one with the new tip already installed. Both the replacement stylus and my original with the replacement tip work perfectly!

The only difference is that the nib has a little more wiggle to it than the original and the tip of it isn't as soft (which is a plus to me, since I didn't like the rubbery nib). Doesn't fit in the slot quite as snugly, but stays in and is detected by the tablet.

I broke my S-pen last week. I needed a replacement and luckily Amazon had an replacement S pen for the tab A 10.1 2016. I tested the S pen from my experience it fully works without any issue. FXDTECH good seller, I fully recommend, if you broke your s pen for your Samsung Tab A and need a new one.

Good quality pen, but does not work on Tab 2019 even though Samsung told me to buy this pen. No issue with vendor
