TUG 360° Tangle-Free Retractable Dog Leash with Waste Bag Dispenser (Medium, White/Orange)

This is our 3rd one in 4-5 years. Our dog is hard on leashes and bites and frays them but this one is our favorite. It never tangles and so we each have one in our cars and we have this new one to replace our original as our everyday leash. We clock about an hour a day for 4-5 years on one leash and minus some fraying that doesn’t impede its use, it’s still going strong. Happy to have the refresh.

This is an amazing leash! Our dog is 49 lbs and he usually breaks leash after leash. He pulls alot. But he has yet to break this one. I definitely recommend this leash!

It is a quality product and sturdy. Recommend the leash. Caveat, use the extension with a puppy that chews as it can chew through the material. After that, you and your pup are golden.

I like taking my dog for walks but I use a scooter and she walked and she walks or runs with the scooter. This leash works well as long as the dog stays in front of you But if she should get behind you it doesn't retract properly. Feels good in your hand and as long as the ribbon-type leash is in front and taught it seems to easily Retract. However if for some reason there is slack in the ribbon The retraction does not work without assistance. don't think I'd buy it again I'll try another kind next time.

This is our 3rd Tug Leash and I wouldn’t buy anything else! We have 2 small dogs that love to pull! I have one that loves to chew on the leash and having that leash extender for the chewer is awesome! I wish Tug sold those with the leash like they used to! We also have a BIG Saint Bernard grand dog that had used the large leash since he was a puppy! It has held up and still great leash now that he is full grown! This leash is sturdy and doesn’t get tangled up! Great value, sturdy and love the retractability!

1yr later update: Despite abuse from a bouncy 110lb Grt Pyrenees, countless drops, drags across concrete/asphalt/sand/dirt/puddles, rain and more the leash is still working perfectly and looks great. I cannot emphasize just how useful and well made this product is.Original review:I bought two of these….a small & large and I highly recommend this product.The small is for my 23lb Grt Pyrenees pup. It’s perfect, size, comfort, durability and usefulness.The large is for a 109lb, bouncy, lizard chasing, playful, 3yr old Grt Pyrenees. After 5 months of constant use the inner mechanism still feels fresh, works perfectly and externally nothing is worn or rusty….not even the rubberized handle lining or the chrome plated clamp.In short the Tug 360 is well conceived, well made, practical, comfortable, durable and weather proof. It easily handles the heft of my 109lb Grt Pyrenees lunging, pulling, surprise lunges, playfulness etc..There is a caveat to tape leashes….ur baby can chew through them. This is the downside to all retractable/tape leashes. It’s not a manufacturing fault. Think of tape leashes like u would a ribbon on a present, it’s pretty much impossible to tear unless u have a pair of scissors. Now swap out the scissors for a puppy ; ). Luckily the Tug leash comes with a training extension that should endure long enough for the little darling to be trained.

We have a bully which is a small but powerful dog. She chewed up our first leash, but the TUG is holding up well. We've had it for ten months now, and it's still free of teeth marks. The extra lead helps when she pulls at the leash and try to chew it.When she pulls forward, I have to lock the leash to bring her back, and the mechanism is holding up well, even though the dog is surprisingly strong.Next best thing to obedience school!We managed to lose the cap to the dispenser fairly quickly and replaced it with one that came with a supply of bags. This time, I added a thin strip of self-sticking velcro to the bottom of the leash to keep the dispenser from swinging back and forth. -- Good to go!
