My cat loves it!
Our cat is an indoor cat and our apartment is not large, so I try to make things comfortable and interesting for her. She already had a small cardboard scratcher in the living room, and a large sisal scratching post in our bedroom, so I got this one for the kitchen. She likes to be in whatever room I am hanging out in, so I thought it would be a nice addition for her. I took it out of the package, sprinkled some catnip on it, and she has been enjoying it ever since! She scratches on it pretty regularly, and what she especially loves to do is lie down on her side and scratch the raised sides of the lounge. She is a fairly small cat, about seven pounds, and this has more than enough room for her to lounge comfortably in it. It has really become "her spot" in the kitchen.Additionally, it seems very sturdy and long-lasting. Our cat has been using it consistently for about a week now, and I don't see any wear on it at all. Overall, this is a great product for our cat and will last a long time!

Cats love it
This is a great product. The cats love it, playing in it, sleeping in it, scratching any one of it's many surfaces. I will soon order another one.

It seems smaller than looks in photos - UDATED TO 5 STARS
I am hoping I can return this. It is simply too small, and maybe I didn't understand how much smaller it is. But I have been a customer for years, and this is a disappointment. I don't know what to do now.UPDATE: I don't mind this small size now. The cat I have now is smaller and he actually likes it. So I can see how it would be fine for smaller cats. It is working out fine. Still the same quality as always.

Missing catnip!
LOVE the Scratch Lounge! We've had ours for a couple years and then kitty puked so thoroughly there was no way to keep it. So we ordered from Amazon since it would arrive fast. I'm just bummed that the bag of catnip that comes with it was empty! That's why I took away 1 star.

It Works Like Magic!
I was really impressed by how effective this was. I introduced this to my kitten at an early age when she was being house trained and she would naturally unleash all her clawing, biting, and scratching energy on it. I'm so thankful the Cat Scratcher has saved my furniture from tears and damage. The cat nip that came with the package was a nice touch to help encourage the cat to use the card board box lounge.TIP: Put double stick tape on the bottom of the lounge to prevent it from sliding on hard surfaces like tile or wood floors.

NOT ORIGINAL MODEL
Great idea but not original size. See photo. My cat is small and new “original box” is much smaller than the actual original box. Cat loves the texture just order the larger size.

This has been a favorite of different cats over decades. They really use it, and the bottom and sides can be replaced as they become worn (they will)!

Meow Meow . . .
My cats love to scratch and lounge in this box. It's a tad pricy, but they love it. This will be the 3rd one I've bought . . . I suggest you buy one for you fur baby and see how much they'll love it too.
