Yes, I read all the negative comments. However, if you REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVER, it's marvelous! For the first week, I tried using it with the nearly invisible cover on it. It didn't work at all. Then, my hubby said he peeled off the protective cover....Now it works perfectly. I don't ordinarily write reviews, but felt compelled to as I'm so pleased with this. Would buy over & over again. Note to manufacturer: Please instruct people to remove plastic cover!!

Save your money. I should’ve read the reviews on this one. Every time you use the eraser, it pulls the cover away from the board. You end up with wrinkles that are not erasable & a smudge colored board. After using this board a week, it had to be thrown away. Total waste of money! These boards are very cheap. Inexpensive-yes, unusable after a week-yes, sturdy-kind of for cardboard covered in plastic wrap. Look for a difference brand****Addendum - The plastic wrap had a hole in it so we ripped it off the entire board. There is a true whiteboard beneath that plastic wrap. I will change my review to add more stars if this true whiteboard actually holds up more than a week.****Addendum - Six months later. The white board worked fairly well in the first month or two. Unfortunately after daily use the marker would build up on the board. Using an eraser for white boards only made it worse. The one star remains the same. Spend the extra $$ & get a better white board.

I like that I can keep by the bedside and write things down when thinking about them. It is so handy to erase them and make space for something else.

This product was really terrible. It arrived with the border already coming apart. It’s a very thin sheet of cardboard with some kind of wet melted sticky substance that won’t dry oozing all around the edges. The writing surface is a thin layer of plastic covering over the cardboard. The marker was dried out. The magnets don’t stick, so the very light board slides down the refrigerator. I don’t even want to touch this, let alone use it for anything.When I tried to submit an automated request for a refund, a message popped up saying that Amazon cannot accept a return on items containing flammable liquids. Given the appearance of the product and the unknown sticky substance, that might not be a mistake.

I love the idea of this handy, magnetic whiteboard, but I’ve found that the writing surface has not held up well: it wrinkled up, and the dry erase marker doesn’t erase thoroughly.

It stays on the fridge, the marker works fine, the border is flimsy & kind of peeling off but if you don’t mess with it it’s fine. Mine showed up with a blue border even though it advertised black. For the price, it’s perfectly fine.

Black plastic border is glued to white board with sticky black colored adhesive which smears onto whiteboard. Sticky black adhesive remains tacky on white board and fingers. Tried removing smears with 'goo b gone' and discovered that white board surface is a thin plastic membrane of limited durability. Removing sticky adhesive with simple soap and water is problematic because white board backing is cardboard. Giving Dry-Erase 6-1/2" x 8-1/4" Whiteboard with Marker and Magnet Strips - 02528 two stars because the pen appears serviceable with a nice wet tip and reasonable useable eraser tip. Pen is worth less than a dollar, i found the whiteboard to be worthless.

This is great for jotting quick notes for brief daily huddles with my team. I don't need paper, and it's right near me for the next day.
