Tweezerman Sole Smoother Callus Stone, with Ergonomic Handle

I’ve used one I bought from elsewhere for over 5 years. I accidentally broke that. Find it very useful, effective and easy to handle. I appreciate having the coarse and fine sides on this foot scrubber.

This Tweezerman Foot Callus Remover is the best tool I have ever tried for taming those ugly calluses on your feet. Feet have a tough job. They take a lot of abuse. And get little respect and less tender care. My feet are no exceptions. Calluses build up and sometimes begin to feel like a pebble in your shoe. No fun. The stone has a course flat side that can really grind away. Getting contorted to deal with the bottoms of your feet is not that easy, but the length and shape of the handle make a good grip possible for lots of angles. I keep this Tweezerman in the shower and try to take frequent swipes. It also works well sitting in a chair when calluses are bone dry. Or lounging in the tub in the winter. It has a second, slightly rounded side with a much finer abrasive – almost like an emery board. Both sides clean up nicely with an old toothbrush in running water. I have had one for several years with little evidence of performance deterioration. This recent purchase was for my beach house so I can amuse myself while watching the boats putt by.

I got this because I had really dry and itchy feet postpartum, and nothing would soothe them. Plus I was busy with a baby so I didn’t have time to get any pedicures, or do much general self care. I was pleasantly surprised with how useful it ended up being. It helps scratch the itch on the soles of my feet but it also makes them smooth as butter. And it only takes a few minutes per side to get the skin soft. I use it post shower, while the skin is soft and flakey. It’s not extremely harsh on my feet (I have sensitive skin) like a lot of other stone smoothers, yet it’s extremely effective at what it does. I would 100% recommend this. Plus the curved shape makes it super easy to get the curve of the foot. Highly recommend this.

This is the real deal for getting the job done. I do believe it has a construction that will last for years to come. Time will tell. The last stone I had lasted for about 10 yearsI Not the same company but I think this one is of better quality and construction. Happy feet!

Works well! I had one previously that was a wider and thinner handle that I liked better. However, these things last for YEARS. I love that I can clear my feet of any issues quickly. I deal with eczema on my hands and feet (which if you do too, then you know how embarrassing it is) and this helps keep it all in check through weekly care. Definitely a sturdy tool that should be in everyone’s pedicure set.

Update: 8/31/20 I still think the product is very comfortable to use and seems very well made in general. However, after using it for some time, i have decided that the exfoliation is not as strong as I’d like it to be on the gritty side (maybe 4 or 4.5 out of 5 for how effective the exfoliation feels). I think compared to a pumice stone, it likely exfoliates much better due to hard salt-like pieces on the surface. It definitely does a good job but I’d prefer it to be a little more exfoliating when you rub it. Good quality product though. —— I think the exfoliating sides are good in general, the fact that it's a stone is interesting (instead of a sandpaper or a light-weight pumice stone). The impression I get is that it seems VERY well-made and durable. The ergonomics of the handle are great. Never used a pumice-stone type product this comfortable before. The shape of the head also makes is way easier to maneuver around the foot and reach all sides comfortably, compared to other products I used in the past. So far really enjoying it. Wish I had gotten them at Walgreens a couple months back when they were on sale for $8 though lol. But if this lasts me a long time, then I'm a happy camper.

After using a battery operated hard skin remover for years I’ve discovered this ! It is so much better and quicker with great results. I only use it when my feet are dry and my feet are so much smoother with the pad of hard dry skin under my feet now gone !

Tweezerman is niet het goedkoopste merk, maar wat ze maken is altijd goed. Deze stenen eeltvijl is ideaal om (bij voorkeur onder de douche) je voeten te fatsoeneren. Hij werkt beter dan alles wat we nog hebben gehad op dit gebied. Andere gangbare eeltvijlen zijn meestal te dun (bieden geen grip en breken), en/of zijn onvoldoende effectief. Deze ligt perfect in de hand en hij WERKT. de platte onderkant haalt eelt weg als een dolle, de gebogen bovenkant is perfect voor het fijnere werk, zowel qua vorm als structuur. Als je hem telkens tijdens het douchen even gebruikt heb je geen elektrische vijl meer nodig. Er hangt er hier al jaren een op een vaste plek aan een haakje in de badkamer, naar volle tevredenheid.

I bought this callous stone because I spend most of my days on my feet, which results in hardened skin, especially on my heels. Not only is it not attractive, the rough bits tend to get caught in certain types of fabrics, which can be bothersome for my OCD-type personality. When this is the case, you can moisturize as much as you want, but if you have thick layers of rough, dead skin on your feet, the moisturizer won't be as effective. However, this tool definitely helps in improving such problem areas. In fact, this callous stone has a coarse side for hard callouses, and a fine side that helps in getting rid of rough skin. The handle is sturdy, and the stone can easily be washed with soap and water, rinsed off, and then, simply air dried. ~~~~~~~~ Instructions ~~~~~~~~ The instructions recommend soaking your feet before use, to help soften the skin. However, as I'm often in a hurry, I have to say that I often skip this step. The coarse side is meant to exfoliate thicker hardened skin, while the fine side helps in smoothing the bottoms and sides of your feet and toes. I always follow up with a rich moisturizer, applying it all over the treated areas. The newer skin is then able to easily soak up the moisturizer, leaving my feet soft and smooth for days. I typically use this stone on my feet every few weeks, as standing and walking non-stop during my hospital shifts really do a number on my feet. Great purchase. Would recommend.
