Reasonable inexpensive option
Just started buying "pet covers" as finally got fed up w. wrestling w. blankets and throws for pet protection - tho at first was taken aback by the cost of some pet covers. A home shopping channel had a special value on a "plush" Sure Fit sofa cover roughly costing twice as much as this cover. So, since the two different covers arrived within days of each other - well, OK, the Sure Fit plush cover from QVC is IMO gorgeous - soft, heavy, well stitched, nice backing w. silicon paw print dot grippers. Then there's this one - IMO, the "budget" option.Which doesn't mean, IMO, this is a bad product. Merely a less expensive version, not as "luxe" I guess as a "name brand". It's an inexpensive microsuede w. a kind of papery interface backing and tiny plastic dots, by way of grippers. Because of the backing, I would be cautious about washing/drying and not use a lot of heat. Comes w. some light elastic strips and some thoughtful ring clips that can either be sewn on, or clipped on - the idea being to use the elastic to tie the back of the cover to the back legs, to prevent the cover from sliding down. Overall, IMO it's the quality you'd get at a budget big box store. It definitely FEELS cheaper than the plush Sure Fit cover - but then again, is that a bad thing? In that, the Sure Fit sofa cover is heavy, and I can see having to wrestle with it, trying to wash something that feels like a heavy quilt. This cover is far more "mobile" in that respect. This one is also neatly stitched, even if made of less expensive materials. So IMO it depends on what your needs are - this cover isn't the quality you'd get, I guess, for 100$ and up. It may not stand up to a large, energetic dog re the heavy toenails. There's no real "loft" to it, far as I can tell. But if you need something for general use for smaller pets or just to keep the hair/dirt/sand off your furniture, IMO it's an inexpensive option. Plus, you could tailor this one or add pins for fitting without worrying you are wrecking an expensive pet cover - or buy this for a car or truck, too.

Nice fabric, has slip proof backing
Nice fabric, has slip proof backing, covers a full size sofa easily. BUT, my sofa has a high back and the cover BARELY covers the back. The "elastic straps" are useless. They are attached with a tiny clip that doesn't hold and the other end of the strap I knotted to the little leg on the sofa. I sewed an additional piece of fabric to the top and attached (sewed) webbing that goes from a corner of the attached fabric, down to the end leg, over to the middle leg and up to the mid of the additional piece…. and the same on the other corner….to hold the back from slipping forward. Hopefully that will work….we have an exuberant boxer who thinks the sofa is her new bed!!!!

Nice feel!
It is a good quality and nice feel, but slips and slides all over the place. So I boughtsome backing like you would put under a rug so it won't slide, and sewed it onto theback and arms. Works perfect now.
