For years, I've battled those pesky floor-sliders, constantly adjusting, repositioning, and even tripping over them. But no more! The Optimum Technologies Lok-Lift Rug Gripper has become my new best friend (in the home improvement department, at least).Here's why I'm head over heels for this grippy wonder:It actually works! This is no flimsy, fly-by-night product. The Lok-Lift gripper has serious staying power. I applied it to my runners on both hardwood and tile floors, and they haven't budged an inch. No more ripples, bunches, or unexpected trips. It's like the runners have grown tiny little roots!Super easy to install. No need for professional rug-wrangling skills here. Simply peel off the backing and stick it to the underside of your runner. It cuts cleanly with scissors (no fraying!), and the instructions are clear and concise. Even someone like me, who's directionally challenged when it comes to folding a fitted sheet, managed this with ease.Discreet and damage-free. Have used this product on several rugs and runners and it does a fantastic job of keeping them in place. It even holds up to having a dog frequently run and stop abruptly on runners while playing in the house and the runners stay perfectly in place. If you do need to lift or move the rug there is no residue left behind and it is reusable.

These rug grippers work extremely well. I have 3 kids (and a hubby) who all seem to drag their feet as they walk. This led to ever rug in the house being bunched up and flipped in all kinds of directions.For the main runners in the house I applied these rug grippers and the rugs all stayed in place.The down sides are..1) They are a little difficult to apply. The gripper didn't want to stick to the rug as I pulled off the backer. After some trial and error I found a delicate way to keep them in place until the rug was flipped over2) After about 6 months of daily walking on the rugs the gripper started to wear out on the ends. I removed the gripper section and replaced it with new pieces and it once again held for about 6 months.3) Price - considering they are not reusable and do wear out they are a little pricey but worth it if you want your rugs to stay in place.

We were going crazy with runners used over wall to wall carpet. The runners where always moving around. People were tripping. and you had to bend down several times a week and straighten them. Is that you? Well here you have the answer. No, I do not work for this company. But, after a lot of failures with carpet tape type products, finally, something that actually works! Very easy to install. Trick is to put it on the bottom carpet then roll up the runner or area rug, get it in position, and roll it out on top of this adhesive mesh. That is correct. It is mesh, not tape. Maybe that is why it works and the tapes don't. Highly recommended.

This tape is just O.K. it's adhesion is hit or miss. The first small rug I used it for, everything stuck great! It sticks well to the floor surface, but not so great to the rug. The second one I tried it on was a runner, it did not work at all. I did everything the same as before, it would not hold the rug down no matter what I tried. So after a couple days of the rug sliding all over I pulled the tape up from the floor (removes easily), and ordered another type of rug tape.

We bought this to use on an area rug on a tile floor. We have very active small dogs who race down the hall and skid to a stop on the rug. It didn't work at all. Before we attached it to the rug we thoroughly cleaned the floor and let it dry completely. Then we vacuumed the rug to remove any loose dirt. The dogs had fun pulling the tape off of the rug. So it was good for their entertainment.

We purchased this and it worked great! Very sticky so just be sure about where you want to stick it and commit. It would be nice to have more on the roll especially for large area rugs. Worth it though!

Hard to take off the carpet itself, but does its job!

Hi, I definitely recommend the product bcz it's great especially working on carpet floor.After I used it, all my naughty small rugs became still!I suggest that you buy 2 packs if you have lots of rugs and big size carpets. I regretted that I only purchased one, so when I used it, I have to economized on it.:(

This review is after about 3 months of usage. I placed 3 long strips under a 1.8m rug. Placed the rug over a thick carpet and my rug hasn't moved since. Absolutely worked for me! Thus, highly recommended!

It wasn't sticky enough to do the job - I ended up using double sided carpet tape along with this.
