Looks good, very happy
So far so good. I'll say up until now, Tigger had been using in the medium size of this same crate without the table. He goes in with no problems and hasn't torn anything up inside, or attacked the crate itself. He's a growing boy and the medium crate is getting a little tight. So we moved I'm out of the bedroom and into the large crate with table. It arrived today, setup was easy no tools required. The crate has an side and end opening, and has an extra end without a door if you want to close it off. The table has a nice finish, it's not a high end piece of furnature, but it's a nice finish for a dog crate. It arrived well packaged and no damage. For the cons, has no feet and the outside bottom has the same finish as the rest. I got a set of rubber stick ons from the hardware store to keep the finish from grinding into my tile flooring. Also the wood too was so well packaged in foam and cardboard corners the finish had some slight ware in the corners. I touched it up with a brown sharpie and it looks perfect. As for the size, we got the large, and there is plenty of room for him to stand up completely and enough room to move around. The pad in the picture was separate. Overall for the price I'm super happy.

Puppy potty apartment on the cheap
I saw a product on the 'net called the puppy potty apartment that basically divides a crate into a potty mat section and a small sleeping 'crate' side. The divider had a hole so the puppy could move between the two when needed. To get that and the nice wood coffee table cover was gonna be about $400!!!I'm handy, so I started cruising the 'net for a moddable living room friendly crate with a divider. I ordered this crate in medium and got it in less than a week. The crate is a standard wire crate that goes together very easily. The wood end table cover is nice, but definitely not high end furniture. It went together very easy and is also collapsible if you ever need to take it with you on a trip. It does go very well with our living room set, and looks sooo much better than a standard crate. Now onto the puppy potty apartment mod. I cut out three wires wide, by two sections high in the near center of the divider. Works perfectly. The divider goes right where the hinge is for the side door. It makes a perfect sized bed crate, and a perfect sized potty area that fits a standard 23x24 potty mat just right. To make both doors accessible where I wanted to place this, I also had to take off the end panels and swap them so the side door would point away from the couch. Swapping these is fairly simple with a pair of channel lock pliers to open and close the hinges at the bottom.

Nice look, easy assembly, a bit smaller than other medium-size crates
This looks really well and matches a lot of the furniture in our room - it's a very common color on the market which is nice. It's more brown-red than the picture, which looks more like a true mahogany red tone. But it's really nice. The crate is definitely smaller than the standard medium size crate. I use this for a 32lb pug/beagle mix and he can stand up but brushes his head against the ceiling. So you may want to go a size up - I think we might exchange it. He still goes in voluntarily and spends his mornings in there watching us, waiting for breakfast, even with the door open so he seems OK with it. But if you have an old crate of the standard size, the bed liner for the bottom won't fit so plan to buy a new one for this. Oh and also the doors are smaller than the sides - so your dog will have to step up and duck their head to go into the opening. Just something to be aware of if you have a really excitable dog that likes to leap into the crate like one of mine does, or an older one that may has hip or knee issues. The opening is still totally sufficient to get in or out, but they do have to duck a bit like when using a dog door. The whole thing kinda snaps together and the front piece has 3 magnets that hold it in place. Great for quickly taking it down but the point was to have it be more like furniture, so I expected (an would have preferred) some screws or something to hold it more in place. It's totally solid in terms of you can set things on it, you can slide it around on the floor, etc, I just wish it were a bit more sturdy and locked into place than it does. However, for the cost, still a very great purchase. And finally the best part about it is the 2 doors - front and side. This allows you to put the crate/table in either configuration in your home and is perfect for us. This is my favorite feature of this crate.Overall I would buy this again or recommend it to a friend.
