Sori Yanagi stainless bowl punchingstrain​er (16.19.23) 6pcs

I had an idea of of what the 'punched' strainer would be like -- smooth inside, and rough outside in a way that would chew up a sponge. This is quite smooth on both sides, heavy enough to feel solid and durable, but light enough to be very comfortable to use. I like the taller shape so I can easily whisk wet ingredients without splashing. Good tools make cooking a pleasure.

Really beautiful and well made. It doesn’t seem like this would be worth the $ but they are truly quality pieces. The strainers are great - smooth so food does not get caught. Everything nests. My son loved this gift

These seem expensive for what they are but I purchase them for the quality. The only part I dislike is the shape. I wish these had a wider base and lower in height, not so upright like an upside-down triangle.

Beautiful set of bowls and strainers. My one issue is that the smallest 16 cm strainer doesn’t “float” above the bowl because it is exactly the same height as the bowl. The other two sit on he bowl rim so that there is drainage space between the strainer and bowl. But still useable as a strainer and bowl. Nonetheless, they are beautiful and I love them. The pierced hole strainers drain so much better than the old fashioned colander. And the design of the bowls is sleek and beautiful.

Nice and sturdy construction. Good quality and not made in China. Perfect for fruits.

High quality, but the cone shape makes them wobble and tip over easily.
