Perfect for covering planes.
Works well. Adjustable blower speed. Heats up quickly but not hot enough to ruin your Monokote. No issues so far!

Good hobby heat gun
I bought this to replace a very similar one which I had used for years and after untold drops onto the floor it finally gave up. This one is very similar except instead of two setting (heat/no heat) it had low hear and high heat. It works very well and the price is very reasonable. If it lasts as long as the previous one it will outlive me.

Really nice little heat gun
This thing is great for all kind of little projects. Two different heat settings are nice. It doesn't get extremely hot like other heat guns do. I wasn't needing a heat gun that gets really hot. This one is just right, and looks pretty neat also with the chrome metal casing.

the best
An experienced RC plane builder suggested I buy this heat gun. It is specifically made for shrinking the covering you place over a wing, etc., when building an RC airplane. It works great. I recommend, if you are new to covering an RC Plane, have an experienced builder teach you how to cover a plane using heat shrink coverings - I did.
