Have had a set of the Oneida Dover flat-wear for 30 or more years. Quite a few spoons and forks have gone missing since. Our originals are not the high gloss finish, so finding a correct matching set in the flat/satin finish hasn’t been all that easy when shopping local stores. But, this set is the real deal. Authentic Oneida Dover in the low gloss/satin finish. Yes, there are some very minor differences, which other reviews have pointed out making it sound unreasonable. But that’s to be expected given the changes in VOC compliance regulations, origins of material, location of manufacturing, and manufacturing process updates. Our original set was made in USA a few decades ago. This new set is made in Vietnam. The finish is practically the same and the design hasn’t changed. We are very pleased with this set and they mixed in seamlessly with our old.Thank you

Very nice design from Oneida. Stainless. Shiny. Good for everyday use and for special occasions. A little lighter weight than our previous Wallace set, but still good.

My parents have had the older version of this set for ~40 years and still use it! I love the weight and size of this. I am having some minor rusting of the dinner knives after 1 month of use which is a shame. outside of that, love this and think it's a good investment to have higher quality silverware

I was using this pattern to fill in my Reed and Barton expensive stainless steel. While the pattern isn’t exactly alike, the quality is just shy of the same quality of my expensive set. It’s a great value.

This silverware set is wonderful! They are well detailed and shiny, nice and thick and very well balanced. They come out of the dishwasher looking brand new every time. This is the silverware I have always wanted!

We ordered this set as our "nice set" to be used on Christmas, Easter, Etc. It's well up to the task. All of the pieces have a nice weight to them, and they stand up to some considerable abuse without any scratching or tarnishing. We've taken to even using them on a day to day basis. The knives aren't very sharp, they're really only butter knives. You might want to order a separate set of nice steak knives. Shipping was fast and accurate.

I wanted nice flatware for everyday use and Dover was my choice. It has a nice weight, it is sturdy and most importantly easy to clean. I don’t have a dishwasher so ease of cleaning is high on my list. It is so beautiful, and simplistic, yet elegant.
