This chute fit my Craftsman rear engine mower perfectly. The mower was probably made by Snapper, with black paint , instead of red, and Craftsman logos. It's a little pricey, but if it lasts as long as the original, it will be worth the cost.

A Good Fit for the old Snapper
Replaced the tattered old chute, looks much better.

Fits most B&S mower decks.
Installation was a little tricky, but once installed the chute stays put. Much cheaper than other after market sources. Saving some $$ is always good!

Exact replacement on my 28" RER Snapper
Perfect replacement for my 28" rear engine snapper rider. No issues at all. Very simple install and even came with a new push nut for the end of the rod! My only beef with it is the chute should be made of steel just like the older snappers had. This is the 3rd one I have replaced in 10 years. Had I known, I would have kept the old metal chute from the previous snapper. Otherwise, it is PERFECT! Nothing mows like a Snapper.
