Barron's GED: High School Equivalency Exam 15th Edition

I didn't actually use the book too much because i am not good at studying on my own for long periods of time in my room so i ended up going to a GED program instead and used this to review on my own. I passed my GED with 3510 and from what i saw on the test this covers more than enough for what you will need. It is an awesome book for the price and it explained everything well, i would recommend this book if you can take at least an hour out of your day to study. If you only need one or two subjects like Math or Science I would recommend getting a book for those subjects instead. In my GED class we used Steck-Vaughn GED books and they were awesome, Amazon has them for $8-10 a subject. It was actually fun to learn from those books because they had short chapters, broke each subject down simply, and explained it well so it didn't seem like you were working on one thing for too long. In January 2014 the GED test will change and become harder so for those people still waiting to get their GED they should go now. From what i saw from the practice tests for the 2014 GED there are going to be a lot more word problems for math and in my class word problems confused the most people. One of my teachers also said there is a chance they will add trigonometry to the test and that is hard to learn for GED students. Also the test will be on a computer now, i am not sure if it will be on paper also.

I took the GED exam because I was an exchange student at a high school in Maine, I didn't want to go back to my country and study the 12th grade again. I think the GED exam is actually difficult. And if all the high school students are required to take this exam to get the diploma. Then half of them will fail.This book is a good resource to prepare for the exam. The practice tests are very helpful and the questions are very close to the actual ones.With GED, try to spend as much time as you can to study for it. Do as many practice tests as you can. It IS NOT HARD to pass the exam.

I will recommend this book and the CD that comes along with it for anyone who's trying to study for their GED. Excellent material. I have even used it to refresh my memory on numerous things. It have examples, it breaks down each problem step-by-step and there are numerous tests with the answer atthe end of each test. You will learn from and enjoy this book.

I used this book to study for my GED exam and needless to say it was the best purchase I could have made. It was very thorough with its lessons and taught exactly what you needed to know and more. When I got my results back from my tests I was surprised at how well I performed. This book prepared me to the point where the test seemed very easy. I finished early with all of the tests with time to go over every question again and sit in my seat for 20 minutes waiting until the next test was handed out. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has to study for their GED exam.

This book is great for getting ready for the GED. The CD has practice tests so a person can feel comfortable taking the test on the computer.

As a private tutor in Spain with at least two GED students on the go at all times, I have found this specific edition of Barron's GED the best prep system by far.More importantly, the GED is an American-based certification for a high school diploma. There, the GED has progressed to the 2014 version. Outside of America, and for the foreseeable future, we will continue to be assessed with the 2002 examination. All of the mainstream preparation programs, and book publishers, have abandoned the 2002 materials. I couldn't find a GED Book that was more comprehensive and easy to understand anywhere else. The price was also reasonable. I've purchase other educational books and found them lacking in one way or another. My husband has been using this product for a little over 2 months now and we are both very happy with the results!
